The early days of motherhood… was just days away from being 2 months old and I was getting ready for a meeting, what meeting… I have no idea. Nursing a colicky baby in one arm, putting makeup on with the other hand and feeling like I was just keeping my head above water.

I remember feeling so unseen, trying to hold all these pieces, learning to be a mother without my mother, all while trying to figure out who this new version of me was. Months later I found this photo in the and it reminded me of how far I had come, in just a few short months, on my journey and that I am never alone.

So grateful for my tiny but mighty village and to my man, I am beyond lucky you chose me to be your momma.

The 4th Annual Wine Country Distillery Festival, presented by Poppy & Vine, returns to the Luther Burbank Center for the Arts on Saturday, August 12, from noon to 4:00 pm. Bringing together our regional distilleries, the Wine Country Distillery Festival celebrates their craft and shares their spirits with locals and visitors alike. During the festival, attendees will enjoy distilled spirits, craft beverages, and local food bites with live music adding to the entertainment of the afternoon. https://buff.ly/40F06jf
