The worse abuse I have heard of is picking addicts up off the street and offering them Rehab, then getting wealthy people to pay for their insurance with a big kickback to that insurance donor when the patient is admitted. If that is not human trafficking what is and it certainly is trafficking in human misery. While the medical industry and our government treat addiction as a side issue and not the genuine health crisis that it is we will keep getting scams as people die.
