On Sunny Days, the Cars Come Out to Shine: Nepantla’s Fourth Annual Lowrider Block Party in White Center | South Seattle Emerald On July 20, Nepantla Cultural Arts Gallery’s fourth annual Lowrider Block Party in White Center drew in crowds of people on a sunbeaming day, showcasing tuned-up cars (and bikes) with every corner covered in intricate designs.

Join us today for an art workshop & mini tianguis! Kalli Arte is in town and they brought homies! It’s a party at Nepantla today!!

We got a Photo Booth for the Lowrider Block Party from 12pm-3pm!! Thank you for coming thru in the clutch!!

Nepantla will be Closed this Thursday but…Big news! Jake Prendez was selected to be one of the artists to design a table for the Seattle Art Museums “Party in the Park” dinner. Jake & Judy partnered on this project to create a tribute to “Chicana/o Arte” we’ll post photos tomorrow 😊

Have you visited the Hecho in Califas Art Exhibition at Nepantla yet? Meet one of our displaying artists Kalli Arte.
Kalli Arte is a family art collective based in Boyle Heights CA.
Kali Arte was started by self taught artist: Adriana Carranza, and Alfonso Aceves and their children. They are dedicated to speaking directly to their community and beyond through printmaking, gallery exhibitions, art, installations, community workshops, and marketplaces.
Kalli Arte has these works in the exhibition as well as a few prints & stickers in the gift shop. Exhibition runs till July 28th.

Doing Father’s Day and/or graduation shopping? We will be closed on Saturday for our son’s HS Graduation. We will also close at 5pm on Thursday so we can attend senior awards. We hope to see at Nepantla soon.
