Too many women like Sharon remember the horrible years when safe and legal reproductive care was non-existent. Roe v. Wade gave patients across the United States the opportunity and agency to take control of their own bodies, lives, and futures. Anti-abortion laws like those passed in Texas and Mississippi needlessly endanger patients and take away patients’ ability to make their own decisions about pregnancy and parenting. I’m working every day to pass the Women’s Health Protection Act to protect the right to abortion on the federal level and ensure we don’t turn back the clock on abortion rights.
