Today we celebrate the anniversary of the end of slavery in the U.S. We honor the courage, strength and determination of the Black community. While we have come a long way, we still
have work to do.

Today, Tuesday, June 18th, is Veterinary Appreciation Day. It is a day dedicated to honoring the incredible work and dedication of veterinary professionals worldwide. This Saturday is the day! We are returning to our seven-days-a-week schedule to help us better serve our clients and the growing needs of the pet-owner community we serve. We look forward to being there for you on the weekend's to address your pet's timely veterinary care needs.

We just wanted to take a moment to thank everyone who showed their support and donated to our sister nonprofit, as part of this year's GiveBIG. Your generosity will help them be there for pet's whose owners cannot afford the full cost of treatment. Truly lifesavers as the need is so great. They are receiving about 10 requests a day and the funds run out so quickly. Thank you again! It means the world to us!

Rainier Veterinary Hospital is pleased to share that we will be returning to our regular business hours of 8:00 am to 6:00 pm, Monday through Sunday, starting June 1, 2024. It has been our long-term goal to resume our seven-days-a-week schedule in our new facility so we can continue to meet the growing needs of the pet-owner community we serve. It’s National Pet Day! What an excellent time to celebrate those beloved pets in our lives. Also, an excellent time to do a few “checkins” with your pet. Are they up-to-date on their vaccines?
