Well…nothing like a little car accident to shake things up! Sideswiped by another driver turning into my lane on lower Queen Anne this afternoon…everyone is ok, I’m a little sore, my sweet little van might be toast though…
Dubbed "Skinny House," this PB Elemental-designed prefab home maximizes its space despite its width. Situated across from popular Lid Park and the I-90 bike trail, it offers a treehouse-like feel with ample indoor/outdoor living, high ceilings, expansive art walls & abundant south-facing natural light. At 1,380 sq ft across three levels, it boasts four outdoor spaces, including a private roof deck. Modern finishes include quartz & concrete counters, custom walnut ply cabinets, concrete & bamboo floors. The lower level features a bonus room/bedroom, three-quarter bath with heated floors. New solar & mini splits enhance comfort and efficiency, along with two off-street parking spaces. A detached studio/shed provides additional potential.

We staged this sweet home in Madrona. Despite all of the "new builds" we always appreciate homes that have lasted a test of time. A home that has history and charm. It goes hand in hand with our brand.

Question today….do you think distressed furniture is still relevant or was it overdone and a past trend and not desirable anymore. (I find this console table lovely by the way, but just one piece not a roomful. )

Yard long gallery wall goals via Liz Marie Blog! https://www.lizmarieblog.com/2019/01/antique-gallery-wall-entryway/
Something old, something new....it's all about the mix for 2024. I think the new term is "Provenance and Patina." Enjoy these pictures of inspiration.
A core part of our DNA as a staging company is the use of vintage, antique and one of kind objects that add another layer to our design. Despite the "trends" for 2024, we have always believed in reusing pieces that have a history. Pieces that tell a story yet seamlessly work with our design concepts.
There will be many terms for this practice for the year 2024, but we feel it's an integral part of every design. This has distinguished our design and made us relevant over 20 years. It wasn't a "trend" but a lifestyle for Jon Rosichelli who started this firm. We look forward to infusing this practice and showing examples of our work. Bask in the patina, embrace the rustic nature of vintage and have fun!
