IMPORTANT INFORMATION: We will be gathering tomorrow at our usual times (9:30-Sunday Bible Classes and 10:30-Assembly) but due to a leak during the last storm, there is a small section of the auditorium that has been sectioned off for safety. We still have plenty of seats available, so come join us in celebrating Jesus!

While we don't know the actual historical date of His birth, we celebrate Jesus Christ, God's Gift of salvation to the world. We rejoice in that Gift each and every day of the year. No trees, lights, or wrapped-up presents necessary.

As the old song says:
"I know who holds tomorrow
And I know who holds my hand."

We are saddened to hear of the passing of Bro. Surya Rao. While on earth there is mourning, we celebrate his life and his reunion with our Savior. Please continue in prayer for his family and friends.

We humbly ask for prayers for Bro. Surya Rao, who is in a coma in critical condition at Rajamundry Hospital in India after suffering an accident at his home several days ago. Please pray for our brother in Christ as well as his family, friends, and the medical professionals caring for him.

"May we shout for joy over your victory and lift up our banners in the name of our God. May the Lord grant all your requests."

We ask prayers for the family of Charlie Fields, who passed from this life January 14. There will be a visitation this evening, January 26, from 6:30-7:30pm at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 2201 Airline Drive in Bossier City. Funeral services will be held at 2pm Friday, January 27, at the Northwest Louisiana Veterans Cemetary, 7970 Mike Clark Road in Keithville.

Okay, she (Susie) made it through surgery fine. Still groggy but okay. Doc removed most of all the detritus between the joints that was causing her the pain. Couldn't do much about flexibility. She will stay the night here at Specialty Hospital then we'll take her home tomorrow. Thank you for your thoughts and prayers. God is good!

Prayer Request via Debbie Berry:
"Please be praying for my granddaughter Kaitlyn Berry. They have found a tumor on her lung. We don't know if it is cancerous yet but be praying. Your prayers saw her through her first fight with cancer when she was 10. My prayer warriors can see her through again."

UPDATE: Prayers answered! Matthew Gibson was released from the hospital today and is back at home resting with Erin and their little man, Michael. They are grateful for all of the prayers.
