It’s great to see new friends distributing ice at our old St Matthias site which lost a few trees.
ICE DISTRIBUTION SITES:
10am to 2 pm
Williams Memorial CME Temple - 3301 St. Matthias Drive, Shreveport, LA
Highland Center will become an overnight shelter tonight as cooling needs continue. Red Cross volunteers will be on hand and Shreveport P.D. will provide security. Cooling station will return tomorrow at noon and food will again be available.

John Perkins started talking about World Central Kitchen. Then Priest Margaret Ayers called Deacon Lois Rayner Maberry and asked her if she knew if St Marks had any food to get rid of since their power was out. She told me that there were casseroles and Fr.s Alston and Thomas told her to come and pick them up.
Then we got a hold of Fr. John, Peggy, Lashon and Madison from Church For The Highlands and Highland Center. After several hours food was served. See you Sunday.
