On Sunday, Dec. 3rd, our choir, children and youth performed a lovely Christmas cantata. Thank you to all who participated and shared your gifts and your talents. It kicked off the season of Advent in a most beautiful way. I walked away with a full heart and a smile on my face. Such sweetness. Thank you to BJ Hart Landers, our narrator, who has such a beautiful voice. To Scott McAteer, our organist & pianist. Wow, he is AMAZING!! Our Children’s Minister, Rebekah Scott Harbison who was our “play director” and made sure all of our cute little “actors” were ready and in place. And finally, a GIANT thank you goes to Dolly Pelletier, our Director of Music Ministries. What a blessing you are to our church. ❤️🙏🏻🌲✝️ ⭐️
12/13 UPDATE: NOTICE!!!
Unfortunately, our Walk to Bethlehem event has been cancelled since the Simpsonville parade was moved yet again to the weekend we were planning. It was pushed up so far that we do not have enough volunteers to pull this off. We are incredibly sad but we plan to do this again next year and pray you will make plans to join.
We also want to take this opportunity to invite you to our Christmas Eve & Christmas Day services.

Our Story
It is a joy to welcome you to Simpsonville United Methodist Church! We hope you find us an inviting and hospitable congregation. Your presence is a blessing, as we all seek to follow Jesus Christ. We invite you to attend one of our three Sunday worship services. Our traditional worship services are held in the sanctuary at 8:40 AM & 11:05 AM. During these services, familiar hymns are sung from both The United Methodist Hymnal and the Faith We Sing Hymnal. Our adult choirs perform weekly anthems, and the Hosanna Brass plays once a month. At 10:55 AM we hold a contemporary service in our Christian Life Center gym. This contemporary service offers new songs that are led by our praise band. Lyrics for the music, as well as other visual aids, are shown on two large screens. Small group activities are held throughout the week and on Sundays. Sunday School is scheduled for all ages at 9:55 AM. To select a class suitable for you, stop by the church office for suggestions or just ask anyone you see. If you like to sing, there are choir opportunities for all ages. Methodist Youth Fellowship meets on Sunday and Wednesday evenings. Wednesday Night Live! offers a time for food and fellowship, as well as various learning opportunities. It is our desire to provide a wide variety of ministries and spiritual growth opportunities for all ages and stages of faith and life. If you have any questions about our ministries, please contact any member of the staff. They will be happy to talk with you or refer you to the proper person. We look forward to meeting you at church!
