Mission team made it to Chicago!

This past Wednesday we had our ice cream social, with an abundance of different homemade flavors! To finish the night we also played some good old fashion games like sack races and tug of war!

We love seeing our church family gather throughout the week and the next church wide fellowship opportunity will be a lake day on August 17th!

More information will be coming soon and we hope to see you there!

Dear Unity Church Family,

A huge thank you to everyone who served on our VBS team, donated time, items, resources, and spent time praying for our VBS program, students, and staff throughout the week!

I appreciate so much your willingness to participate in what God was and is still doing in the life of our children and church family. Your service has made an enormous , positive impact on our community and those involved, all for the glory of God! Without your support and prayer, we couldn’t have provided this kind of opportunity. You all are amazing!!!

A special thank you to our leadership team, Janet Heuvelink, Deanna Cloutier, and Gina Raneo, whose leadership, reaped not only rewards for our children, but for us as well. I was truly touched by your support and devotion.

To the kitchen team who anticipated 50-55 kids and adjusted to feed 87 that showed up, in addition to over 66 workers each night, Elizabeth, you and your team did an amazing job!

The crafts folks, Bible teachers, recreation sports fanatics, tour guides, music leaders, security force and all others who filled in wherever needed ...you all are what makes serving at Unity so special.

Don't forget that tonight is "Bring a Friend" to VBS!

UPDATE: We have Adirondack chairs. We can still use some more trees. Also if anyone has a blue pop-up tent that they use for tailgating we could use one of those.

We need a few artificial Christmas trees to borrow for VBS? Drop off can happen at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday morning, June 8th. We also would like to borrow two Adirondack chairs. Please contact Janet Heuvelink for more information: 864-567-1964

A big thank you to all the people who came out for the outdoor work day and VBS drop in decorating. Every little bit is so appreciated and the church looks loved.

Volunteers complete their background checks tomorrow or Sunday in the donut room.

Anybody that can meet to help Janet Heuvelink pass out VBS flyers in surrounding neighborhoods, please meet at the church on the soccer field side at 4:00 pm today (Wednesday, May 29). We should be done by 5:45 for the youth pool party).

Prayers for the 31 Days until Vacation Bible Study!

This Wednesday May 8th is our last BLAST before summer! Join us this Wednesday for some fun, a bounce house, and ice cream!

Are you interested in coming with us to Alaska this summer? Then meet us in the Fellowship Hall following the second service at 12:00pm!

Tomorrow we will have some information about the opportunity to serve as a church in Alaska this summer, so if you are interested we would love to see you there!
