Thanks to you all and your generous gifts, we were able to green light ALL of the new products we had planned, and we know you're gonna LOVE them! This is an event we plan for ALL YEAR long, and we cannot wait to see you all, hug you all, and for you to get your hands on our new items! (Keep your eye on our stories for more sneak peeks and the new items arrive!)

Missing my sweet Orion Job. This week is 7 years since we found out about him, and then so quickly said goodbye to him. This image sums up so beautifully how it felt 7 years ago to say goodbye, and how it still feels.

I was stopped at a red light the other day. As I waited for the light to turn green, I glanced up ahead and saw the leaves of a tree perfectly framing out the name AVA.

It's not chance that I was the first car at the light and able to see the sign.
It's not chance that the leaves on the tree perfectly framed out the letters.
I absolutely love when Ava and Orion say hi to me in these kinds of ways.

That was what our photographer said to me at the end of Brunch & Blooms. 🥹 Honestly, it summed up the day perfectly. It’s powerful to be in a room full of people who get it. Who get your grief. Who get your hurt. Who won’t diminish your loss. And who you can hug, cry with, and laugh with.

So much fun. So many tears. So much joy. So much healing. That is Brunch & Blooms. 💐🤍 We can’t wait till next year!

💜Founder’s Story:

“Amethyst is my birthstone, and it’s also the birthstone of the first baby we miscarried. After that loss, I was desperate for an outlet to process my thoughts and feelings, but I couldn’t really find much at the time. At some point, I saw an article about how the amethyst stone is valued. Everyone wants that deep, jewel-toned purple stone, so the pale amethyst isn’t worth much. Thinking of the parallels of pale amethyst versus miscarriage struck me deeply. How miscarriage is viewed, how miscarriage moms are sometimes treated, the things that are said…

“Oh it was just a miscarriage.“
“At least it was early.”

As if our loss was less significant, our babies lives weren’t as valuable, and our stories weren’t worthy of being shared.

I set out to create a platform that gave a voice to miscarriage stories, and give the proper value to the lives of our precious babies we love and miss. I didn’t know what it was going to become, but at the time, I called it Amethyst Uprising. (Little did I know, Amethyst Uprising would transform into Evermore Blooms just a few years down the road). These bracelets honor that part of my story, and truly, the beginning of Evermore Blooms’ story.

The stones on these bracelets were intentionally chosen for their pale purple appearance. No two are the same, just like our stories. But they are each unique, beautiful, and worthy of being shared.”

When we are faced with hurt, heartache and loss, it would be easy to let darkness win. But like flowers, if we turn ourselves towards the light, it’ll make us grow. It’ll cover us in warmth. And in time, it’ll make us bloom.

We hope to be a community that chases the sun, seeks the light, and believes in hope. More than that, we seek to be a community that chases The Son, the source of light, and the author of hope.
