May is nationally recognized as Mental Health Awareness Month. According to the American Psychological Association, adults aged 35 to 44 experienced the highest increase in mental health diagnoses, rising from 31% in 2019 to 45% in 2023.

Additionally, around three in five adults (62%) reported that they avoid discussing their stress because they do not want to burden others (Source: APA. November 2023. Stress in America 2023: A Nation Recovering from Collective Trauma).

God calls us to support and uplift each other, especially during times of struggle. We challenge you to reach out to someone in your life with questions like, "How do you cope with stress?" and "What strengths do you rely on in times of trouble?" It's crucial to convey to others that they are not a burden.
