New in the farm stand this weekend: bell peppers, poblanos, broccoli. Still some melons, but our melon season is almost over!

Farmstand is open! She scrubbed, swept, signed, and stocked the stand with a variety of produce from our farm including 3 types of melon.

We took an evening “wine walk” through the fields. It mostly resulted in tallying the work that still needs to be done and what is ready to sell. But in the sunset light veggies look so pretty and promising and not needy. There is something magical about wandering the fields after the workday with no tools, overalls or tractors.

You won’t get to see the tan line under a mask, but you may see the high school era hair style at the market. Lake Forest Park today.
