Reminder that we will be activating the weather sirens at 10:07AM EST tomorrow as part of the Annual Statewide Tornado Drill as long as weather permits.
Pulaski County 911 will be participating in the Statewide Tornado Drill Wednesday March 6, 2024. At 10:07 AM the tornado sirens will be activated to simulate what would happen during a real weather event. We will have people in the area that will let us know which sirens activated correctly. We know that there are a few that we are waiting on the utility company to power up such as Naomi, Faubush, Palm Circle, Somersport, and Somersplash that will be tested at a later time in the future.
In the event that there is inclement weather in the area, the drill will be postponed until a later date.
We would like to say Thank You to Advanced Family Medical for bringing dispatch this delicious cake today!
AT&T & FirstNet phones are experiencing an outage that may keep them from calling 911. If you have an emergency please use an alternative method for calling us.

The Kentucky Division of Forestry's fall wildfire burn restriction begins February 15 and goes through April 30. Please use the attached graphic to understand the differences between a burning restriction and a burn ban but in short this means that if you are within 150 feet of any woods or brush you will only be allowed to burn between 6PM - 6AM.
Also please remember to call 9-1-1 anytime you're burning so we have it logged and don't roll resources to your location that may be needed elsewhere.
Pulaski County 911 was officially opened on Feb 14, 1990 in the basement of the EMS building. Since that time, we have had the honor of working with some of the best in the business.
