Sierra Nevada AmeriCorps Partnership
The Sierra Nevada AmeriCorps Partnership (SNAP) selects and places 27 members with Sierra Nevada conservation organizations and agencies each year.
From 2007 through 2013, more than 135 SNAP Members have served at 32 Sierra conservation organizations and agencies to restore over 9,536 acres of habitat, monitor over 924 ecological sites, educate over 101,119 people, raise more than $96,126 dollars for member service projects, and recruit 14,466 community volunteers to serve their local Sierra watersheds. In total SNAP AmeriCorps members have contributed 236,559 hours of service to the Sierra!
