Our organization provides opportunities for underrepresented adolescents to receive sponsorships to travel abroad. Through this platform we aim to:

•Give students the opportunity to learn phrases from a foreign language
•Encourage mental/health wellness
•Philanthropy
•The opportunity to do hands on work with communities abroad
•Gain community service credit
•Resume experience

It is a life-changing experience & gives BLACK & BROWN youth a chance to experience other cultures, while learning more about their history ✊🏽 in 2022, we will be taking a group of students to 🇰🇪 KENYA!!

Starting Thursday, MSU Extension are offering "Adulting 101" courses for 11th and 12th graders.

Classes include information on budget and credit, rent, and even cooking and household tasks.

All classes are FREE and done through zoom.

As previously announced, due to rising concerns over the coronavirus pandemic, Growing Hope Foundation made the difficult decision to postpone our upcoming partnership trip scheduled for April. This may or may not delay sponsorships for our first cohort of students. We appreciate your understanding and will be rescheduling the trip and a new tentative schedule at an appropriate and safe time. What more of a fitting time to introduce myself? Happy Women’s History month! If you don’t know me personally, my name is Charrell Branigan and I am a travel enthusiast & advocate for mental health wellness from Saginaw, MI. For so long I have struggled in what my life’s purpose was.
I took my first flight in May of 2013 at the age of 22. I went to Japan and it forever changed my life, leaving me hungry for more adventure! As I continued to explore both in and out of the states, I discovered that it wasn’t just traveling, but giving/connecting with locals and immersing in other cultures that I love. Travel is my life, it is therapy and mentally, it saved me. Thus, In February of 2018 on a trip to Playa del Carmen, God revealed to me Hopeless Wanderer & The Growing Hope Foundation. It took a minute to get started, but here we are!
Please join me & my team, as we sow seeds of hope into the world one place at a time! Our mission is to provide culturally competent, global service opportunities to unrepresented youth. We are creating a “culture of hope” for generations to come 💚🌍😌✨
