RoboMed, developed in 2019 in partnership with LTU's Biomedical Engineering Department, is an exhibition-style competition where teams design, build, and program a healthcare service robot.

This week, the LTU College of Arts and Sciences hosted its Graduation Award Ceremony, recognizing exceptional students graduating this weekend! Congrats to the award recipients! 🙌

LTU hosted the Robofest Official Michigan Invitational Events on April 20, giving teams a second chance to qualify for the World Championship Game Finals on May 11! 🤖
The challenge, "Autonomous Taxi," requires teams to design a self-driving taxi robot that picks up and delivers golf balls to different locations on the game field while obeying stop signs and avoiding obstacles.

This week, the LTU College of Arts and Sciences welcomed Craig Streu, professor of chemistry and biochemistry at Albion College, for a seminar on developing light-sensitive molecules with applications in medicine and biological pathway exploration! ⚗️
This seminar was sponsored by an American Society for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology networking grant awarded to Irfana Muqbil, assistant professor of biochemistry at LTU.
