Why is it that we often don't think about the different parts of our body until they aren't working right and then we can't stop thinking about them? Research has shown that the thoughts and emotions that we have affect how our bodies function. If our bodies are only receiving negative thoughts and emotions, then this can contribute to more disease within the body. Dr. Barker explains how you can use the power of gratitude to change your relationship with your body and promote a greater state of health and wellbeing.

Holistic health and healing encompasses much more than getting a checkup. As humans we have the ability to tap into the amazingly intelligent and complex organism that makes up our body. We can access this through a variety of methods such as breathing, releasing trapped emotions, meditation, exercise, plants, so much more but more than anything love. love is at the core of everything we do and that’s why we teach it to everyone of you. Our love of holistic wellness is the reason we vet all of our supplements, test kits, protocols and injectables. If love of healing is not at their core we don’t partner with them. Sending all of our patients, friends, family and followers a huge virtual hug. We hope your week is off to a beautiful start. Changing the way you experience medicine for a full mind, body and spiritual experience.

What Should We Tell Our Kids About Santa?
Dr Barker explains how most of our subconscious conditioning and beliefs are formed by age 8. These subconscious beliefs can determine how we think and emotionally react to things for the rest of our lives.
Knowing this, you can make a more informed decision on how to explain Santa and other myths to your children.

Unconditional love means there is no condition in which your emotional reaction toward yourself or someone else is a negative emotion instead of love or a variation of it. Unconditional love cannot depend on anything outside of you, otherwise it is conditional love and it is a temporary emotion instead of your state of being.
Dr. Barker explains what blocks us from feeling the source of love that exists within us and what you can do to uncover it. By tapping into this eternal source of love, we can help ourselves heal mentally and physically and become a beacon of light to those around us.
At Integrative Pain and Wellness Center we offer a variety of healing modalities that fully incorporate the mind, body and spirit. Do you have an old injury that has never quite healed all the way? Have you had a surgery that you haven’t been the same since? Do you have heart palpitations? Do you have digestive issues? Do you have a medical problem that hasn’t responded to treatments that would usually resolve it?
If you answered yes to any of the above, there is a good chance you have Autonomic Nervous System (ANS) dysfunction that is impairing your body from healing. The ANS is the part of our nervous system that automatically does things without us telling it to such as nerve flow, blood flow, hormone production, protein production, the lymphatic system, etc. When we have dysfunction of the ANS, it can cause local pain, referred pain, swelling, organ dysfunction, or impair our body from healing properly.
It was thought that this problem was caused by trauma and an injection technique was developed called Neural therapy to fix it. The actual source of the problem is related to the emotions the trauma or injustice caused within us and specifically, how those emotions end up getting stored in the body.
This problem can be fixed WITHOUT any injections! The injections do work, but they often have to be repeated and can be uncomfortable. Instead of injections, the problem can be completely reversed just by releasing the negative emotions so that your body can start healing!
If you would like to be evaluated for Autonomic Nervous System dysfunction, call to schedule an in person or telephone visit (yes, this problem can also be addressed over the phone!)

Listen to the powerful testimonial from a patient who has found peace and homeostasis by releasing her negative unprocessed emotions with the help of Dr. Barker.
To release an emotion intentionally, it only requires awareness and intention. Muscle testing can be used to gain a greater awareness and there are other tools that can be used to aid our intention. Tools that help empower our intention usually involve adding some sort of energetic boost to the body or activating the innate energetic systems already within us.
Many techniques to release negative emotions use different ways to boost the energy within the body and help facilitate the release of emotions. There are techniques that use rapid eye movements, some that use tapping of energetic points on the body, and others that stimulate the energetic meridians of the body. Dr. Barker will demonstrate a unique way of empowering your intention to help release emotions that can help in your healing journey.
To release an emotion intentionally, it only requires awareness and intention. However, we are limited by the conscious mind of what we can bring to our awareness. We don’t consciously have the memory of every negative emotion that we have generated or would not readily know what emotions we may have inherited from our ancestors. We also do not readily know which of our unprocessed negative emotions are contributing to a particular physical or mental health problem.
However, the subconscious does have a perfect recollection of every negative emotion we have generated and whether it has been released or not. The subconscious knows where these emotions are being stored in the body and if we inherited a negative emotion, the subconscious would know from which ancestor it originated. The subconscious also knows which emotions are contributing to a specific problem we are trying to address such as headaches, blood pressure, cancer, anxiety, or depression.
So, how do we bring this information from our subconscious to the conscious mind? Muscle testing, also called Applied Kinesiology, is a tool that enables this. You can ask the subconscious any yes/no question through a simple muscle test. This can be done with two people or by yourself. Dr. Barker demonstrates how to use this tool by yourself in order to help gain the awareness needed to release negative emotions.
Dr. Barker discusses the benefits of processing the difficult and painful emotions that may arise after the death of a loved one. We have all lost someone that is close to us or will at some time in our lives. Physical death is part of this earthly experience, but it is not the end. We are immortal spiritual beings having a temporary physical experience here on earth. By processing the emotions we generated due to the death of a loved one, we can more fully love them even though they are not physically with us.
If you need help processing grief, schedule an in person or phone appointment with Dr Barker.

Dr. Barker walks you through a guided meditation to release negative emotions. It is recommended that you watch the video titled: How to Release Negative Emotions first, if you have not already.
To get the most out of this guided meditation, pick a negative event from you life, it could be something recent or from years in the past. Try to pick an event that typically causes some emotions to arise within you when you think about it.
Please leave comments below of your experience with this practice.
It is not the memory of an experience that is painful, but the emotions attached to that memory that cause us pain. Once those emotions have been released, you can now look back at negative life experiences in order to gain wisdom from them.
Dr Barker demonstrates a simple and quick way to change a belief at a subconscious level. Our negative emotions are generated automatically based on our subconscious beliefs. So, changing a belief only within our conscious mind, will not stop us from reacting emotionally to something if we still have a negative subconscious belief.
If you need help incorporating any of these tools into your personal practice, Dr Barker offers in person or phone appointments.

Dr. Barker explains how to stop generating new negative emotions. We each have our own personal rowboat in life. All of our rowboats have holes that leak water into our boat. If the water in our boats gets too high, our boats will sink. The water that leaks into our boats represents the negative emotions that we subconsciously generate in response to perceived traumas and injustices. When our burden of negative emotions becomes too great, it leads to physical and mental disease.
When we release negative emotions with any of the myriad of ways to do so, we are metaphorically scooping some of the water out of our rowboat. Scooping water out of a boat with leaks will help keep it from sinking, but it will not do anything to fix the leak that allows new water to enter through the holes in our boat. Similarly, releasing our negative emotions can help us to feel better mentally and physically, but it will not stop us from generating new negative emotions to similar experiences. In order to metaphorically fix the holes in our boat and stop generating new negative emotions, we need to learn from the past life experiences that caused us to generate the negative emotions in the first place.
When you know the negative emotions and the experience or experiences that caused them, these are helpful questions to answer after you have released the negative emotions. These questions will be most helpful after the negative emotions have been released because while holding onto the negative emotions, they hijack our brain and make it more difficult to do this deep level of introspection.
Here are the 5 self reflection questions:
How could I have acted or reacted differently?
What part did I play (if any) in creating this negative experience?
What life lessons have I learned or could I learn from this experience?
How has this experience helped me to grow or how could it help me to grow?
What subconscious beliefs caused me to react to this situation with these emotions?
The more you work with these questions or ones like them, the easier this self reflection becomes and the more you will get out of them. One or more of the 5 questions may not be applicable to every scenario that comes up.
You may also benefit from the aid of a professional to work through these questions with you after you have released the negative emotions. That professional could be a counselor, therapist, a coach or someone else that does psychological therapy. Dr Barker also offers in person or phone appointments to work through these questions and to help change the subconscious beliefs that lead to the emotional reaction (aka fix the holes in your boat so they stop leaking in water.)
Call to schedule an appointment.
