Our next Getaway for married couples is on July 21! We will start at The Hangar and have an adventurous progressive dinner throughout the Spartanburg area. Space is limited, so please register as soon as possible at fbs.org/family

We're a little over two weeks away from our next We Are Family. We're catering tacos, and the cost for dinner is $6 per person ($30 max per family). Please register you and your family before May 1.

Our focus for this event is on intentionality. We want to take some time, before the craziness begins, and give you some practical tools so that you can be intentional individually and as a family.

iMom begins NEXT WEEK! We are so excited to dive into this book, "Mama Bear Apologetics." Moms with children of all ages will join together at tables to discuss this book, Bible reading, & life as a mom! We are so excited to kick off iMom again this semester! Starting February 8, iMom will meet weekly on Wednesday nights for conversation on life, discussions on the Bible and reading, prayer, and a monthly time of food and fellowship as we seek to grow spiritually, emotionally, and relationally across multiple generations.

We will get to hear from Chris Goulard, who serves as the Pastor of Strategic Advancement at Saddleback Church and Dave Briggs, who serves as the Stewardship Director at Central Christian Church. They bring a wealth of knowledge (pun intended) that will serve us well. You won't want to miss hearing from them!

Did you know it takes roughly 250 volunteers to make preschool, kids, and student ministries happen on a weekly basis?

Right now, we have a lot of opportunities to serve in these ministries, and we'd love to have you be a part of some great things happening. If you're not currently serving, would you consider using your gifts and talents to serve our kids and church either weekly, twice a month, or even once a month?

Our final Getaway of the summer did not disappoint! We had a beautiful night of worship together while enjoying coffee & desserts!

Jordan reminded us of the importance for a daily reset and weekly rest. 🙌🏻 We’re refreshed and ready to head into this busy season & glorify Jesus through it all!

The grand finale to our season of Getaway events…The Getaway Marriage Retreat! Enjoy a weekend at beautiful Lake Junaluska as we fellowship, worship, grow and get away together!

We are getting so excited to kick off these two new mentoring and discipleship programs!

A Better Man will start on September 7 with a kick off dinner in the Dining Hall at 6:15pm. You will be able to meet and enjoy dinner with your mentor/mentee. Make sure to sign up online to save your spot!

iMom begins on September 6 at 9am. This is an intentional and relational time to connect with other moms while seasoned moms share wisdom from their own journey! iMom will meet every Tuesday from Sept 6 - Dec 6. Register today to claim your seat!

Our last Getaway for the summer is on Friday, August 26 from 7:00-8:30 PM. With summer coming to a close and school starting, we thought it would be good for us to slow down for an evening where we can hang out, worship, pray, and enjoy some good coffee and desserts together. We will also be giving away three free registrations for the marriage retreat!

We are so excited to introduce iMOM, starting Tuesday, September 6!

iMom will blend mentoring and discipleship together so that moms will have the opportunity to grow spiritually, emotionally, and relationally.

The meetings will be in a semester format with a weekly time for conversation on life, discussion on the Bible and reading, prayer, and a monthly time of food and fellowship.

Please register by August 23. The cost of $20 for the semester helps us cover materials, weekly coffee, and more.
