Today, we celebrate the incredible power of art to inspire, heal, and connect us all. At Skybridge Counseling, we believe that creativity plays a vital role in mental health and well-being. Whether it’s painting, drawing, music, or any other form of artistic expression, art can be a powerful tool for self-discovery and emotional release.
✨ Join us in honoring this day by sharing your favorite artwork or creative project! How has art touched your life or helped you through difficult times? Let’s inspire each other with our stories and creations.

June is Men's Mental Health Awareness Month
We had an amazing Pride weekend, and we are still recovering right there with you! 😁😁🤗
Thanks to all who attended, volunteered, and stopped by to say hey! We are a small fish 🏳️🌈🐟surrounded by some big Tuna. We are so proud that we collectively find social justice efforts and advocacy crucial and aim to support all LGBTQIA+ youth, adults, and families.
Ongoing agency activism for 2024:
1. Our entire team is enrolled in the August 2024 LGBTQIA+ 2 full-day symposium full of amazing topics and guest speakers, all related to counseling and mental health.
2. We have specialized experience with military- active duty, veterans, and their families. This includes training in su***de prevention with LGBTQIA+ service veterans—experience with processing groups, and working directly with the military for steps to remove dishonorable discharges. 🏳️🌈We thank you for your service and want you to know we see you and wish to honor you for your service however we can. 🙏We are currently working on contracting with Tricare and triwest. Accept most private insurance, Apple, and Molina.
3. Working to reduce barriers to services and care by removing arbitrary and unethical obstacles to care with hassle-free medical confirming letters as a policy at our agency with oversight from the clinical director to ensure all members of our team uphold WPATH and ACA standards.💌
4. Get your letter fast, no insurance, no problem! We will provide a phone consult and if availability permits a probono assessment with no fuss or need to defend. Just a respectful discussion of support and guidance. Email [email protected] for more info. Happy to help!
5. We are enrolling all current and future counselors, prescribers, and social workers to receive specialized LGBTQIA + multiculturalism in counseling training. I wish grad school better prepared all out the gates, but we see a gap and are aiming to fill it!

This landmark legislation laid the foundation for the modern mental health system, emphasizing the importance of accessible and quality care for individuals dealing with mental health challenges.
