We’ve had a lot of fun playing with Doma’s new spring blend - Rite of Spring! This roast brings fruit, floral, and spice to the forefront. Try it now on drip or espresso. MENU FEATURE: “The United” - a lemon and lavender latte. This was the very first special we put on the menu when we opened last July and it continues to be one of our most popular drinks! We’ve elevated it since then by dehydrating lemons for the garnish and adding sugar/lemon zest sprinkles! 🍋

Debuting our new hazelnut mocha ft. a well known chocolate hazelnut spread! 😄 It’s topped with dark chocolate and roasted hazelnuts so the chocolate-nutty flavor shines all the way through.

Have you tried our peppermint mocha yet?! We always considered this a default hot drink until one of our regulars ordered it iced and changed our minds! We top each one with shaved dark chocolate and crushed peppermint 🤍❤️

We are so sorry for the inconvenience but we will not be open on 12/23. Bellwether and Locos will still be open though!

It’s a holiday week! We will be open regular hours (7am-3pm) on Tuesday and Wednesday but we are closing up shop the rest of the week. We’ll be back to regular hours 11/28. ✨ We hope you all have a wonderful holiday weekend!

1. What is your favorite thing on the menu? Doesn't say it has to be on the menu yet…Shakerato... watch for it 😉
2. Favorite DOMA roast? Ethiopian
3. Favorite thing about Hillyard? The small town feel and strong sense of local community. I like how I can run into people I know almost everywhere in the neighborhood. You don't get that in most other parts of the city.
4. What do you enjoy for fun when you’re not in the shop? Gardening, woodworking, baking, hiking, fixing things or learning how to fix things. I really just enjoy working with my hands to do something creative.

Joel isn’t behind the bar every day (he prefers to be behind the scenes), but he’ll be around this weekend if you want to swing by and say hi!

Favorite part of Hillyard: There are a lot of people in this community who do honest work and are underrepresented. It’s a humble community and their actions speak loudly!

When you’re not at the coffee shop, what do you do for fun?: I like to draw, play a lot of games, and anything outdoors!
