We are looking for someone passionate and willing to learn; experience or not. If you are enthusiastic to learn about the hard work that goes into making sushi, we want to hear from you! Cutting, rolling, and presentation are only a few of the skills needed for this position. Memorization is key - expect a high learning curve. Please be willing to work in a somewhat small space with others, and be able to demonstrate courtesy and respect for your peers. Sushi.com does not have a formal application, so feel free to post your resume on this page here, or drop off a physical copy to the restaurant. If you have any questions, please call us at (509) 838-0630

Is everyone enjoying their weekend? We've had a great time seeing so many of our customers in person and thank you to everyone who has helped us stay open and safe. We have another request for you, our awesome guests. If you or somebody you know is looking for a great place to work, we are in need of a server. Please share this message and candidates can drop off their resume in person at the restaurant.
Great candidates don't have to have experience with Japanese food, but service experience, a great attitude, and reliability are going to be the keys to success in our industry. Thanks for sharing and feel free to PM questions. Lunch and dinner shifts, position to start as soon as possible, WA minimum wage + tips.
Hi Everybody! Today we move to 50% capacity which means we can seat more guests. We still anticipate wait times on busy evenings, so please be respectful of others who may be waiting for a table. These items have NOT changed:
1. By now everyone has probably had a close encounter with Covid. If we gently remind you to wear your mask when not seated, it is because we care. Be kind, be safe, wear a mask.
2. We are only allowed 6 people from two households per table. Please do not move tables or create your own setup, we are here to help you.
3. Our entryway is small so please send one person in to check in/get a table.
PS: More to come on reservations, your patience and understanding is greatly appreciated.
Time for an update! We will be opening for dine in on March 1st so get excited! As you may know from other restaurants, we are only allowed 25% dine in capacity so there are a few things we need your help with:
4. We will not be taking reservations until at least 50% capacity.
5. As 25% is a low capacity, there will certainly be times when there is a wait. Please respect people who may be waiting and of course we would still love to help you with a take out order if that is easier for you.
We are so excited to see our amazing customers, but please know we will be here for you when YOU are ready. Limited dine in, take out, or just wait until we are all vaccinated and feeling safe. Your safety is our number one priority!
Hi Everyone! It has been a long time since we've updated and we want to first thank all of you who have ordered take out. We have loved serving you! Spokane is now moving to phase 2 which means 25% capacity. Last time we opened when it was 50% capacity, but we want to see you in person so we will look to open for dine in in the coming weeks.
Your patience is appreciated as we take time to clean up, strategize how best to lay out the restaurant, and figure out what makes the most sense for our customers for ease of entry/exit. Please note our page is the best place for up to date news and we will post here as soon as we have a firm opening date.
For now, we will still do take out. If you want to have some amazing Japanese food with your Valentine this weekend, we will be here waiting for you!
Hi Everyone! As you've no doubt heard, the new target for reopening is January 11th. In the meantime we will be CLOSED on New Year's Day to spend time with our families and will be available again for takeout on January 2nd. Have a safe and happy New Year. 明けましておめでとうございます。
We hope everyone is staying safe and sane as we approach the end of 2020. As many of you know the ban on dine in has been extended to January 4th at the earliest. Please know that we are still doing take out to help with your holiday parties, special occasions, or just regular mid-week sushi cravings. We will be ready to open when we can, but in the meantime we look forward to hearing from you for to go orders. Our customers are the best and we love seeing your smiling (masked) faces!
Hi everyone! Tomorrow, Tuesday 11/17 will be our last day for dine in until at least 12/14 when the Governor's order expires. Please come see us for take out during that time, please be safe, enjoy Thanksgiving and let's get through this together. We've got this Spokane!
We got the fresh delivery of Bigeye tuna 🍣
Happy Sunday Everyone! The early snow and ice has created a need for us to do a little roof maintenance so that we are prepared for the long winter we are expecting this year. We will be CLOSED tomorrow, Monday October 26th to make some repairs. We will not be open for take out or dine in, but will return on Tuesday, October 27th.
Thank you as always for your understanding and helping us create a safe, wonderful place to enjoy Spokane's best sushi. See you Tuesday!
Thank you. We came back healthy and ready to serve you. Take out or dine in.
Thank you everyone for your concern, patience, and understanding. We have great news to share: everyone has received negative test results for COVID-19. We are ready to return to serving you Spokane's best sushi and we will reopen for TAKE OUT ONLY on Saturday and Sunday, and return to phase 2 limited dine in on Monday, October 19th.
Dine in means 6 people per table, please wear masks while not seated, and we have signs out front for when there is a line (one line for take out and one line for dine in). If you can send one person from your party to check in with the host, we will serve you as soon as possible.
Again, our number one priority is your safety, and we are happy that this interruption has been short. Please know that we will continue to sanitize regularly, and follow all best practices to allow you to focus on enjoying your meal.
Dear Customers,
It has been a great week back seeing everyone, so it is difficult to share that we must close our restaurant again temporarily. We have confirmed to having exposure to an individual who tested positive for coronavirus, so out of an abundance of caution, we will be closed until further notice. We hope to re-open as soon as we can staff the restaurant with people who have received a negative test.
Please know that your safety is our number one priority. Our staff wears masks and safety gear to minimize the risk of transmission, however we are following CDC and state of WA guidelines to make sure everyone who had contact, tests negative prior to returning to serving you. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to serving you again very soon.

Hi Everyone! Thanks to everyone who came for our first week of dine in. We learned a lot this week and we thank you for your patience. Some small changes we will be implementing this week means there are things you can do to help us. Remember, we are all in this together!
We will implement two separate lines at the entrance, one for to go and one for dine in. It is important we keep the entrance clear, so please send one person only from each party to see the host when you arrive. Also, please remember to wear your mask when entering, leaving, or not seated at your table. Lastly, while we can have 6 people to a table, we cannot move tables or increase the number of people at one spot.
Thank you for your understanding and helping us to continue to be able to serve you the best sushi and Japanese food in Spokane! We truly appreciate it.
I hope you are ready for some great news. Starting October 5th, we will be open for dine in! We will be back to our normal hours, and for folks who aren't able to join us in the restaurant, we will still be doing take out. Our number one priority is safety, so we will make sure our restaurant is sanitized and all our staff will wear masks. You can help us be successful by making sure that you wear a mask when entering, leaving, or moving about the restaurant. Also if you are sick, have a fever, or may have been in contact with somebody who has Covid-19, please wait until you are better to come dine with us. We are all in this together, and we are so excited to see you again!🍣🍣🍣

Hi Everyone!
As Spokane looks to move to phase 2, we want you to know what that means for our Sushi.com family. Our number one priority has always been focused on people. Making customers happy, keeping employees safe, we always think about the people and customers we love when we prepare our food.
We have decided to make sure we can welcome everyone back in a safe manner, we will continue take out only even if phase 2 is approved for a little while longer. We of course want to see everybody's smiling faces and serve you in our dining room and we appreciate your patience while we take the time to make sure we can meet your needs in the best and safest way.
We've had great response from our customers and we want to thank you from the bottom of our hearts. You are the reason we do what we do. As you continue to call in orders (we take orders by phone or walk up), please be patient. If you can't get through, please wait a bit and try again. Also many customers have found it convenient to call in during off hours (2-4pm) and we can have your food ready at a time you choose.
We will continue to update you here as things change and again, we truly appreciate your understanding and continued business. Our customers are the best in the Inland Northwest, and we look forward to seeing you soon!
