Stuzzichini is the entire first course of our tasting menu!
The word nods toward stuzzicadenti (“toothpicks”) and stuzzicare (“to tease”). Stuzzichini are much more than typical bar snacks like bowls of nuts and olives (also on our menu) consider them the Italian answer to French hors d’oeuvres or Spanish tapas - an entire way of thinking about composing tasty bites that keep you coming back for more.

A fun play on a pulled pork sandwich on our dine-in lunch menu.
Pork should confit whipped with mustard and herbs, served on our house bread with chili aioli, pickled cabbage, pickled onions, smoked almonds and Napa cabbage.

It's hard to keep enough photos of recent tasting menu dishes to accurately represent what we are currently serving on our tasting menu. So I found a few from over the years that I really like.
Chef likes to say that the menu will always change based on what we have on our shelves, which farmer is bring what through our back doors, and his mood. Its likely that at our daily fresh talk (staff meeting) there will be about 4-6 changes in the menu. Could be small garnish changes, could be a change in proteins for the entrees, could be a completely new pasta. We work hard to keep this part of our offerings as fresh as possible, ebbing and flowing with the season.
Come for the pasta...stay for the pasta. We make all of our pasta in house. Rather than opening a box of dried pasta...we just make it.

Provisions - to us, these are essential items that cover all the bases. Snacks, appetizers, light lunch, full dinner. All of these items are available all day long, 11a - 9p everyday, at every service (lunch, happy hour, and dinner). There are a few things, like the smoked nuts that are the same smoked nuts year round, but most of the menu does change seasonally.

June 16th we are ditching the normal G&R menu and taking on the steakhouse theme. Big steaks to share (or not), sides and fun upgrades, with plenty of salads and starters.

PASTA CLUB!
Our pasta kit comes with a full meal. It starts with a snack to keep that blood sugar I check while you finish up the rest of the meal. Then a starter dish, usually a vegetable centered dish we would put on our a la cart menu. And of course house made pasta, a sauce and toppings. Lastly, we always include a small sweet bite..gotta have dessert!
$75, feeds 2-3. Minimal cooking/reheating. Easy week night dinner solved.

is our lunch time takeout program. When the pandemic hit we had to figure out food that travels well…we started baking bread and figured out a few sandwiches that worked. We just kept making them and they are now their own thing.
The question we always get is which ones the best…
The grinder is the most popular, for sure!
Chef Peter’s favorite is the porchetta but that just cause he really likes marinated artichokes.
The charred beef gets an honorary mention but you gotta like horseradish with your beef!
But probably the right answer to the question is the bacon jam with egg, and chili aioli. It’s awesome!

It’s patio season…and we got one of those! Join us for brunch on the weekend or Happy Hour in the afternoon or really any time 11a - 9p.
Family…it’s why we go to work. What a weird concept, going to work everyday, working long hours, grinding everyday away from the people you love to be with the people you love.
Last night I had the opportunity to watch the kids while Kendel (my wife) went to do something fun. We got out for a walk before bed time. It was awesome! It was a huge reminder of why I go to work everyday.
I’m so proud of the team I have right now. We have seen our fair share of challenges over the last few months. They have proved time and again to be wildly resilient, constantly professional and persistently passionate about the work we do.
I owe a huge debt of gratitude to the folks on my team that make all this work worth it. I appreciate you more than you know!
