For years, I was overstretching and trying to bend over the top of my patients . I could not get close enough to work comfortably during a massage session causing a lot of drama with my own muscles and overcompensation .

Who knew that not only do you have to have proper body mechanics as a therapist, you also have to have a table that is appropriate size for the therapist build and how tall they are ! 

Where did the month of March go?!

My toddler seems to think my massage tote is where all of his monster trucks belong! There 4 giant trucks inside this tote plus his “pack pack,” which weighs nearly 10 pounds with about 100 hot wheel cars, that needs to go to grandmas every single day!

Important reminders:

The doors to the mansion are secure for our safety. Meaning, the doors are locked until your provider comes to the door at your appointment time.

If you arrive early for your appointment, please wait inside your vehicle so that you can stay warm !

Your provider cannot always be 10 minutes early to the door to let you in as they are finishing with their current patients. 

Also please do not ring the doorbell or bang on the door. The doorbell cannot be heard within the mansion and continuously banging on the back door disrupts other clinics within the mansion.

Happy, happy birthday to my best friend, my work wife, and one of the most amazing mothers that I know!

As we head in to the new year I would like to address a few questions that keep arising .

Q: I did not give my massage therapist a 24 hour cancellation notice.
Can I send my best friend or spouse instead so that we can wave the cancellation fee and they can have a massage?

A: if the patient fails to give a 24 hour cancellation notice to the massage therapist, they are required to pay the full massage session fee! 

If your spouse is a current massage patient meaning they have had a massage within the last month and do not have any other health concerns or injuries it is the therapist discretion if your spouse can take your place. 

If  a current established, patient is not on the waiting list!

NO , your best friend cannot take your massage session! I am currently not taking any new patients at this time, and it is unfair to the current established patients,on the waiting list!

Q: can I split my massage session with my spouse or best friend?

A: NO, I will not split a massage session with a spouse or best friend.
 
I will not take quantity over quality!

Our time together in the clinic is precious. This is your time to heal and reflect. This is the time your therapist puts all of their time and energy into you and YOUR treatment plan.

ALL New patients need to fill out paperwork and have consultations before their initial massage.
This takes a few extra mins and is included in the first massage session!

Q: who is considered a new patient?

A: any person new to the massage clinic or person who has not been seen in the clinic with in three months is considered a new patient.

If you have any new illnesses or injuries it is up to you as the patient to tell your massage therapist before your massage appointment to make any adjustments needed.

Nearly 7 months since his accident. Almost lost his left foot and broke the Fibula twice ! FINALLY able to start minimal tissue work . Today I am using the Gua Sha technique. We are trying to promote new cell growth, decrease inflammation and scar tissue. Also increase range of motion .
