This year there will be a select/travel team for athletes ages 11U (6th grade) and 12U (7th grade).

Two free tryouts have been scheduled and will take place May 4 and May 18 from 8 am to 10 am at Dwight Merkel Sports Complex, in Spokane.

This team will operate independent of the associations, and play teams from the Seattle, Tri-Cities, Eastern Oregon, Idaho, areas.

Athletes who are not chosen will have the option to register and play for their association team.

Volunteers neeeded for North East Washington Youth football & Cheer. Please consider volunteering if you’re able.

🚨🚨VOLUNTEER BASED🚨🚨

Did you know that our youth sports programs are all volunteer based?

every coach, team manager and photographer you see at all of the games, is there willingly. They volunteer their time, to make sure the kids get an experience of a lifetime.

REQUIREMENTS:
background check - you will find this on our website, once cleared we will get an email and notify you of results. this is not public knowledge and will be kept private.
Heads up (coaches) - this ensures every coach on the field follows all WIAA guidelines and safety rules
CDC heads up (team managers) - this ensures all team managers are following all guidelines from the WIAA, along with all of the safety precautions
CPR/First aid- Each team is required to have 2 certified coaches or volunteers per team. ( even if you are a first responder, you will not be able to put credentials in the books, unless you have done all of the above requirements)

most don't know, that although this is youth football and cheer, this is not through the school. We ensure every person that is on the field every weekend with YOUR athletes, passes everything and is safe to be there. We make sure the kids are safe in everything we do.
