Not graduating this year? no worries, we still want to celebrate your academic success as you work your way to reaching that academic finish line! So if you qualify as one of our young scholars, make sure that you still attend our recognition ceremony!

Spokane Community College will be offering SEER Wellness Services for Spring 2024! Services will be an array of psychoeducational groups and workshops covering a variety of topics related to mental health and wellbeing.

Check out all the events being offered and be sure to attend either in-person, via zoom, or with a one-on-one session with Ronda Hain!

On March 13th Washington State Governor signed House Bill 1889. This is a bill which will allow people to receive professional licenses and certifications regardless of immigration or citizenship status. Individuals without a social security number will now be able to use their individual tax identification number for applications.

This can affect many careers, with it being estimated that in 2021 22% of US jobs required professional licensing. this bill will go into effect July 1st, 2024 and will open many career opportunities for individuals without documentation.

ART SHOW ALERT! 👨‍🎨
Trans Spokane is excited to debut Spokane's first Trans Day of Visibility Art Show! This is a completely FREE event that will feature the works of 20 different transgender, Two-Spirit, non-binary, and gender diverse artists from across the Inland Northwest

There will be a brief reception at 1pm to honor the artists and give a brief history of trans visibility.

Join Trans Spokane for light refreshments, beautiful art, and a chance to meet some of the featured artists! 👨‍🎨🎉

Recently, LUNAA was given the chance ot visit the players of Unión FC and discuss the importance of respect. It is essential to us and to Unión FC that students learn about boundaries as well as how to respect others AND themselves. Lessons that they remember on and off the field.

"What is our #1 rule?" asks coach Danny
"That we respect each other" replies the students in unison
