Our summer adventures aren't over. The next few weeks we have our youth house parties!

The first one is this Wednesday, July 24th! It is a pool party and we hope to see you there. Time details to come! Invite your friends!

What a week. We are so proud of each and every student, for going all in for Jesus. We are excited and expectant to see the change that each of them will have on the kingdom.

We are so grateful for this week with our junior highers. God showed up in so many amazing and incredible ways, and we could not be more grateful!

Junior high camp is today! Drop off is 1pm at the church. They can be picked up around the same time on Wed the 10th.

We are excited to see what God has in store for these students. We have been praying for their hearts and minds to be open to any moment God has for them!

Who's ready?

Junior high camp starts tomorrow! We are excited to see how God will move through these students! Grateful to have the opportunity to witness that transformation.

Next week is middle school camp, and we could not be more excited! The dates are July 6-10. We are looking forward to an incredible week for your middle schoolers!

Just a reminder that we have no youth group tonight! We have a little break for summer before camps, house parties and summer nights start up. Looking forward to seeing you all then. It's gonna be a great summer!

Have you prayed about it?

In a situation where you are powerless, prayer can feel kind of pointless

As students, you are super prone to being powerless

Why prayer is powerful:
1. Prayer is a command - pray frequently
2. Prayer ultimately is submission
3. God hears your prayers

Samuel 22:7

When it is a submission issue, you are scared of God's solution to that problem

It's difficult to pray about things that you haven't surrendered to God

Prayer is something that makes your life better

One of the most important ways we build a relationship with God is prayer

If Jesus had a super active prayer life, it shows that we should too

What a night last night! From worship, to fellowship, to an incredible reminder about the importance of camp, we are so grateful for all of you!

Reminder to get your camp registrations in by May 29th. And we still have scholarships available, so don't hesitate to reach out!

Verse of the Day - Colossians 3:2

Do you carry the myth of more? Where does your satisfaction and contentedness come from? From getting the biggest house? Having all the money in the world?

Or does your satisfaction come from God? Do you feel content and secure in the Lord? Do you view heaven and his kingdom as the greatest treasure.

All things on this earth will wither and pass away. We need to be working towards establishing his kingdom and building our treasure there.

If you aren't here on Wednesday nights, you are truly missing out.

Brazil was the next stop on the amazing race tour. Guys took home the win for the second week in a row.

Had an incredible message from Pastor Blake. A great reminder of investing in bringing one person to Jesus. What an incredible impact on the world that would have.

And had our incredible worship team leading us into moments with God.

Everything that we do is for the glory of God. Everything that we have is because of God and his grace and mercy and love. We encourage you to be in constant communication with God. Thanking him for who he is. Thanking him for what he has done. Constantly worshipping him. To him be all the glory and honor and praise.

Wow! What an incredible night we had last night.

Thank you, Brad, for your message about evangelism. Such good reminders on what may be holding us back and how we can combat that.

Thank you to our worship team for pointing our eyes towards our Father.

And thank you to all of you for showing up and being present. We are grateful for each and every one of you!

What was your favorite moment from last night?

Good Friday

How can we call the darkest day in history good. The day that our Lord was beaten. Was tortured. Was crucified on a cross that was meant for sinners.

How can this all be good?

Because Sunday is coming.

Because amidst it all, Jesus still was willing to forgive those who murdered him.

Because he loved us so much that in this one act, he took up every single sin in the world to bridge that gap between us and God.

He was the perfect lamb that sacrificed himself for us.

So, as we enter into this weekend, take some time to reflect.

Sunday is coming. What does that mean for you?

CREW WEEKEND

This past weekend was our crew weekend. Where we dive deeper into community and fellowship with one another. This is where memories are made.

For middle school girls, they had a bake off. They even had some celebrity judges!

High school boys went to Red Robin for lunch.

High school girls took a trip to the local value village. They paired off, bought fun shirts for each other, and then wore those shirts to lunch.

We can not wait for our next crews! Hope to see you guys there!

We would love for you to join us this Sunday. Can you think of a better way to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ than in fellowship with one another. Two different services, 9am and 10:30am!

God is a faithful and unchanging God. One that we can fully put our trust in because he has shown up for us time and time again. And that is something worth praising for.

Where have you seen God's faithfulness recently?

THE LIST

When it comes to relationships, we all have a list ... whether we realize it or not.

The question becomes, is it a list based on the eternal things or the things at the surface level. Are you basing it off the things that can change or those things that are everlasting.

Relationships should be taken seriously. This is someone that you will be with for the rest of your life. Carefully consider what you should be basing it off of.

Here are some suggestions from Pastor Raquel on what our list should look like.

1. Loves Jesus
2. Good with money
3. Family/their parents
4. How they handle anger and frustration
5. How they treat family
6. Work ethic
7. Teachable
8. Humility
9. Their past matters
10. Good with kids
