Donut Parade Spokane
We hope we are a place for the community to gather and enjoy the bestish donuts in Spokane.
UPDATE: We should be open by 1am Thursday (June 27) Thank you all for your patience while got stuff taken care of!
Good news, bad news. The issue that we closed for today turned out to be a non-issue and so that is good to go.
Bad news is that anytime we close I try to get all my fixing of broken things done, and I bit off more than I could chew, and so I need one more day.
We will Re-open Thursday morning.
Thursday is also going to be an "Employee Appreciation Day" where 100% of all donut and coffee sales go 100% to the staff. So come in and see a bunch of the awesome staff, and know that every penny you spend (donuts and coffee) goes to them for the day!
Also, mention this post and get a free donut as our THANK YOU for putting up with this closure.
It would be awesome if you saved that free donut for a day other than Thursday, just so the staff members get max that day, but that is your choice! Thank again, and see you Thursday!
We love it when your share out posts, but that is also your choice!π
Folks, we have to close for Tuesday the 25th of June. I won't know details about when we reopen until later on today, but I will keep you posted as soon as I know anything!
Sorry for the inconvenience!
UPDATE: Thank you all! We managed to BoGO almost all the extras!
Folks, it was a beautiful summer day, and apparently folks decided to go outside instead of eat donuts, probably the right choice....but we have way to many donuts!
From now until 6am we are BOGO, but we pick the GO part. Meaning that we will match the number of donuts you buy with donuts that we select. These are not day olds, don't worry, just donuts that we won't sell before they get rotated to our donation rack.
So come on in and get some extra sweet on us!
(I should note that this is while supplies last, but I will be surprised if that is an issue π)
UPDATE: Interviews have been completed, met some awesome folks! Thank you to the folks that showed up for interviews, and for all of you for spreading the word!

Today (Saturday April 6th) from noon to 3pm come by and support John R. Rogers ROTC. Any profits during that time will go to them. So stop by and say hi.
Did you know that we are open 24/7? We only close over the Thanksgiving and Christmas Holidays, or when we have an equipment breakdown which π€won't happen for a looong time!
Come on in and see us!
We always appreciate it when you hit that share button....but don't feel guilty at all if you don't.....π
I get ready to make a post, and then realize it is April Fools. I have not evolved or matured past a good joke, but this post is not one of them...or is it?
Thank you all for voting us #1 in the Inlander Best of! I have been waiting to say anything cause we are putting together a "party" to say THANK YOU!
On Thursday the 4th of April we are going to be doing 3 things. 2 of them are to say THANK YOU to you, the customer, and 1 to say THANK YOU to our staff.
1. We are going to have a decorate your own donut event from 12pm-2pm. This is a free event for kids, and we will have a few kits that adults can take home also for free if they like. Visit our events page which will be tagged in the comments, get your tickets and then just show up and join the fun!
2. Every purchase will earn you a FREE DONUT Coupon for you next visit. Purchase a Half Dozen and get 2 FREE DONUT Coupons, and a Dozen purchase gets you 3 FREE DONUT COUPONS. This deal maxes out at 3 coupons, you can buy 10 dozen if you want, but you still only get 3 coupons. Why? I don't know, I just had to make a line somewhere.
3. As a Thank You to our Staff, all the money spent on donuts and/or hot drinks from 1201am Thursday Morning to 1159pm Thursday night will go 100% directly to our staff.
The business will not take any money from sale of these items that day.
Lastly, I will choose 5 of you that comment on this post, and 5 of you that share this post to win a FREE HALF dozen donuts of your time and choosing!
Thank you all for making this a FUN place to work, and hopefully a fun place to visit as a customer! We will try to keep getting better this year so that we can hopefully earn your vote again next year!
We now have "Decorate your own Donut" kits that you can purchase! Our goal is to keep them in stock and ready to go 24/7, but like anything new and awesome, it may take us a few days to get a good idea of the needed inventory needed.
Each Decorate kit costs $3 and comes with a Donut, icing, sprinkles and candy toping! You can buy them individually or multiples. Additional icings/sprinkles are $.25 each for those artists that need more than one color to work with π
Note: These do not count in our Dozen or Half Dozen pricing, and there is currently no discount for large orders of these. This may change in the future.
Have a wonderful day!

We have a desire to start hosting regular game nights and we are going to start with Bunco!
You must register for this, and registrations will be limited, so please read carefully!
The rules will be traditional (whatever that means) with one big exception. We will have people play as 2 person teams instead of individuals. We are thinking that will make things a bit more comfortable for everyone. You still get to meet new people, but there will be one familiar face at your table all the time.

When: Thurs Jan 18th. 7pm check in, 715 start time
How many 2 person teams can sign up? 12+2 alternates

How long will I be rolling dice? Approx 2 hrs....I think?
Here is how you sign up:
1. Contact the person you want to play with and determine who will be the team Leader
2. Team Leader message us on FB and let us know the phone # of the team leader, and the names of both members of the team
3. We will respond to the messages in the order received and confirm that you are in
4. If we do not message you back, then you are still an awesome person, but you can't play bunco this time
5. The 13th and 14th teams will be alternates. We will let you know when we respond to your message if you are one of the alternates. We still need the alternates to show up, and if the alternate teams do not get to play, then they will walk out with donuts on us.
6. If any teams are not checked in by 7:10pm, then one of the alternate teams will take their place.
7. Donut Parade will communicate all info and any updates to Team Leaders only.
8. We reserve the right to cancel the event due to weather or staffing issues. Team Leaders would be contacted if cancelations happen
If this goes well, then we have a hope of making this and this type of thing a regular event...maybe even start some leagues with even more fantastical fun and prizes!
Comment Below if I have left out any information, or questions you may have.
Also. let us know what other types of games/activities you would like to do in the evenings at Donut Parade Spokane
You are gonna have to be a pretty convincing person to get me to host any dance or karaoke parties, but other than that, let's here what ideas you got!
I want you all to imagine with me as you read this.
Imagine...a donut, and not just any donut, a fluffy (and if you are super lucky) warm cake donut. But this isn't your normal cake donut. As you bite into it you are surprised by the tang of lemon. You were not expecting that, but it is surprisingly good. Your brain adjusts to new expectations as you go for your second bite. Your taste buds are excited for more of that tangy and exciting lemon when you notice something else. It is a familiar flavor, but not one that you are used to tasting in a donut, and you can't quite place it. Your mind searches for answers as you try to place this flavor, well, not really flavor, it is just there. You feel like it should have flavor, but it really doesn't have flavor. You can taste lemon, that is for sure, but this other flavorless flavor has a crunch to it. You are immediately transported to the beach. You are starting to feel the warm sun and can just beginning to hear the waves...and then you feel anger well up inside you. Sand! Did they put sand in this donut? Is that crunch really sand? You tear the donut apart, already writing the complaint message in your head. You inspect the donut carefully and there is definitely something in there. You pull out your microscope and take a closer look. With great relief and little bit of embarrassment, you realize that it was poppy seeds! Then you remember that Donut Parade serves Lemon/poppy seed cake donuts on Friday, Saturdays and Sundays in January! That totally explains the flavorless and crunchy flavor non-flavor that you just experienced. You settle back in your chair and take bite after bite enjoying the lemon and wondering why anybody puts poppy seeds in anything. "This is going to be a great day" you think to yourself. You start in on your third donut. You know you shouldn't, but that lemon is soooo good, and you can't even taste the poppy seeds, so they don't bother you anymore anyways. You bought six donuts and have already eaten 3. You glance at your phone to check the time as you contemplate eating the next 3 or saving them for your friend as you promised. You are meeting your friend after work, so you could go buy more, but....Work? WORK! You break into a cold sweat. You forgot, you totally forgot about work! And today of all days. Today is drug test day at work....and you just ate 3 donuts with poppy seeds! What to do? Just tell the truth? No! That won't work, the drug screener would never believe anybody put poppy seeds in a donut. Why would they believe that? It makes no sense after all! Bagels! Bagels have poppy seeds! You could say you ate bagels! You start to breath slower, everything is ok. You will march right in there and tell them you ate bagels. Oh, but you are such a terrible liar. They will all know. There is no way that you will pull off that lie in front of the drug screener. They won't believe it was a donut, and you can't lie and say bagel. You are in a conundrum, you have a real problem. You have a choice to make, and it is not an easy choice. You think hard, you think deep, and then you slowly begin to realize that it isn't that hard of a choice at all. You know what you have to do. NO!... What you must do! You stand up with strength and determination. You walk, with confidence, and pour yourself another cup of coffee and grab another donut. Your friend is just gonna have to pick up their own donuts.
Sorry that you had to suffer through that, but I forgot to take pictures of the lemon/ poppy seed donuts last weekend, so I had to think of a way to describe it. I will make sure I take pictures from now on so that you don't have to read anything like that ever again!
Have a great day everyone, and just to be clear:
1. it is not a good idea to eat 6 donuts in a day
2. I do not endorse skipping work to eat donuts
3. I have no idea if poppy seeds really show up in drug tests
4. It is ok if you think poppy seeds have flavor. They don't, but you can believe they do. π
Today is a good day for a sweet treat! And if you feel like a donut would hit the spot, then we are the Best-ish in Spokane!
Our Donut of the Day is French Crullers, so come get one before they are gone!
Also of note, the idea of hosting a bunco party here got enough interest that we are officially planning the event...so stay tuned!
Have a Great Day everyone....even if you don't eat a donut! π
This new year one of my goals is to be more active on our social media platforms. Let's hope this resolution lasts longer than the one I made to exercise everyday.
I get lots of requests for a menu, and I finally got it updated, it is posted below. This menu is done with pride on Microsoft Word. Should I hire a graphic designer? Probably. Will I? Probably not...but maybe.
Here are 10 other random-ish facts about Donut Parade

Thank you for all of your support over the past years, and we are looking forward to 2024...er...mostly. I just remembered that it is an election year.
Random post here.
We rediscovered that water and electrical components don't mix, and I am in need of a part for our Point of Sale (Sqaure)
Below is a picture of the part that can't swim.
If anyone happens to have one of these I am happy to pay for it, borrow it, or whatever makes sense for you.
We are still open as normal, and I have ordered the part, but it is still a few days out.
Thank you all!
I know doing something new for the New Year has been done before...but who am I to reinvent the wheel?
Over the past couple years we have come up or copied a few flavors of donuts that have been a pretty big hit. The bad thing is that it is not feasible for us to do all of them everyday, so like the mature person that I pretend I am, we are going to make a schedule!
So starting Jan 1st, for the Month of January we will have:
French Crullers on Mondays and Tuesdays
Pickle Fritters on Wednesdays and Thursdays
Lemon/Poppy seed cake donuts on Friday,
We plan to have these available by 730am each of these days
If this turns out to be a good idea (I have an approximately 21.345% good idea percentage) then we will change some of the flavors up and do the same thing in February.
Have a Happy (and safe) New Year everybody! Don't forget to remember that we are open 24/7 and we will be open on that schedule for the New Year Holiday!
And we are officially closed for Christmas!
Everyone stay safe and we will be back open Wednesday morning at 5am!
Holiday Hours Update:
We will be closed from Sunday (24th) at noonish until 5am Wednesday (27th)
Whatever donuts we have left at noon on Sunday will be BOGO until they all be gone!
We hope you all have a wonderful time with family and rest!
Thank you all!
*Edit: Our goal 24/7, but I do require that we have 2 staff members on site at night, and someone couldn't make it in, so we will reopen at 5am. If you make it to the front door, there will be a sign you can take a picture of to get a FREE donut on your next visit.
We are back to our 24hr schedule until Christmas when we will close again for a couple of days for the Holiday.
Thank you all for your patience while we did some good maintenance work around the shop last week!
I know that the upcoming month is super busy for most, but don't forget to take some time for yourself...especially if you eat donuts as part of your self care routine! (I did not consult with any doctors about the wisdom of adding donuts to your self-care plan π)
Have a great Holiday Season Y'all!
The photo is of our holiday decor progress so far π€£π€£. More is getting set up as we speak, and my lovely wife gets all of the credit for the holiday spirit. My wife's husband can be a bit of a scrooge
As one of my kids used to say, don't forgotoget that we will be closed this week until Saturday!
At 5pm today(sunday) all remaining donuts will be buy-one-get-one until we are sold out, and then we will reopen Saturday morning at 5am.
Have a wonderful Thanksgiving! Give us a share and/or a comment and I will choose 5 folks from each to win a FREE Half Dozen to be redeemed after we reopen.
Almost all of our posts these days get scammers on them, which I have decided is a backhanded compliment at this point, but keep an eye out, and don't give anyone your personal info. The REAL Donut Parade Spokane will never ask for your info.

Look back at the date of my last post....someone has been slacking on our FB page! I will talk to the guy and tell him to get his act together!
This is a "heads-up" post that we will be closed during the week of Thanksgiving from Monday Nov 20th through Friday the 24th, and will reopen Saturday the 25th of November.
We are going on 5 years since we reopened the Donut Parade, and it is time to take a few days to fix some stuff and paint some stuff and give some people a few days off.
We love your comments and your shares, and I will give 5 folks who comment and 5 folks who share (picked at random) a FREE Half Dozen Donuts!
Thank you all for the awesome support over the past few years!
Sorry folks! We will be closed tonight (Monday) from 9pm until 3am.
Everything is ok, just had some stuff come up with some of our staff members so we don't have enough folks to stay open all night.
Thank you all for your understanding! We greatly appreciate you all!
THANK YOU ALL! It was a busy day, and all of the support is very much appreciated!
Tomorrow (Tuesday) is Employee Appreciation Day for our Staff at Donut Parade!
That means that 100% of money from donut purchases (Midnight-Midnight) will go 100% to our staff! It is generally a fun day to come in, because you will get to see some faces you may not generally see on a Tuesday, and any money you spend on donuts is going directly to them!
So come on in, keep them busy, and help them make some extra money!
We appreciate our Staff and Customers!
Join us this afternoon for the Logan Neighborhood Block Party!
We will have 200 plain donuts there for the kids to Decorate their Own Donut at no cost!
We did this last year and had a great time! We are happy to be a part of it again this year!
Check out Logan Neighborhood Organization for all the deets, but the basics are 4pm-7pm at Mission Park.
We will not have donuts there for purchase, but we will be there until 7pm or until we run out!
Thank you all, and have a wonderful day!
