If you need a break, a staycation is a perfect way to reset. Here are some ideas:

1. Spa day: Put on a face mask, give yourself a pedicure and manicure, and take a warm bath with a calming bath bomb.
2. Movie night: Rent a new movie or watch your favorite classic. Don’t forget the snacks!
3. Cook around the world: Search for recipes from your favorite cuisine.

Tip: Just because it’s a staycation doesn’t mean you have to do it alone. Invite a friend or family member to enjoy it with you.

Are you burnt out? Here are some recommendations for getting back on track!

Take time for yourself: Start your day with a calm morning routine. At the end of the day, take some time to wind down.

Don’t skip breaks: If you need to take a step back from work or an environment, take it! Pushing yourself will only make things more difficult.

Physical and mental exhaustion will decrease your productivity and strain your health and happiness. Remember taking care of yourself is the best way to handle any other task in your life.

March 8th is World Sleep Day!

Sleep affects our ability to concentrate, think clearly, and process new information. The quality of your sleep from the previous night can influence your whole day.

Check out last month's post for some helpful tips on how to have a better night's sleep!

02/24/2022

Sleep better and wake up refreshed with an improved bedtime routine.

- A set bedtime: On average, we should get
around eight hours of sleep. Make sure to go
to bed at least eight hours before getting up in
the morning.
- Turn off electronics: Blue light can deceive
your brain into thinking it's daytime, making it
difficult to fall asleep.
- Stretching and breathing exercises: Relieve
physical and mental tension.
- Read or write: This can help to calm your mind
and emotions.
- A calm bedroom environment: A comfortable
temperature, reducing noise and light.

Sleeping repairs our bodies and prepares us for the next day so that we can have a clear mind and a rested body.
