Sunday, we had our club tournament on the PND river out of Morton slough and in true Spokane Bass Club fashion we picked the best weather all month to fish. The first cold front of the summer had the fish playing hard to catch but we went out and had a good time anyway. Big congrats to Jeremy Kimberling for the win and big small mouth (3.85). Second was Darren Tabor and Third was Phil Berkel who also had big Large Mouth a 5.24 pounder. We are now getting ready for our September tournament on Spirit lake and the TBF National semi-finals which we will be reaching out to members in order of AOY standings to find the 2 boaters and 2 coanglers for that event. We hope to see everyone on Sept 4th at ****6pm**** for our pizza party thanks to the Buchann family and our win.
Members and fishing fans alike, please take a look at this event coming up next month. We would love to support this great foundation and their misson.

Yesterday we fished our second club tournament of the year on Newman lake. We had to move the tournament from Sprague due to high winds but that didn't stop our top anglers from finding fish on Newman. Even through a wild weather system over the past week the fishing was better than expected with lots of quality fish hitting the scales. Big Large mouth was a 5.43 weighed by Darren Tabor. Big Small mouth was a 4.07 weighed by Ricky Jackson.
First place was Jamie Reese with 19.19
Second place was Jeff Turk with 17.02
Third was Darren Tabor with 15.35.
We are taking a break from club tournaments in May and looking forward to the Classic happening in just 2 weeks! if you aren't signed up please sign up and join us for our 10th Annual Long Lake Classic.

True to Spokane Bass Club fashion we started off the year as the fishing got tough. We launched our 2024 season on Moses Lake today with high hopes of big bass and heavy bags, and as the field soon found out the fish had other plans. The changing weather and rising water made for a tough, but beautiful, day on the water. Congratulations to the anglers who found good fish and grinded out the day looking for the bites that were few and far between.
First place was Jeff Turk with 17.5lbs
Second Place was David Slater with 16.21lbs
Third place was Jeremy Kimberling with 14.66lbs
And big fish was won by Ira Zuber with a 5.80lb large mouth and a 4.76lb small mouth.
