Simple maintenance tip to help your refrigeration appliances last longer!

Cleaning the condenser coils is important, especially with undercounter models like wine coolers, beverage centers and ice machines. Once the coils get clogged with dust, pet hair, etc...they cannot dissipate heat and will cause the unit not to be able to cool properly or make much ice. Eventually, it can cause the whole appliance to fail.

Checking them annually is a good idea, but if you're an animal lover, then you'll want to do it more often. Removing the kickplate is simple to access the coils...and your appliance will thank you with many long years of performance! 😄

Summary/Objective:
This position receives, stores and distributes material, tools, equipment and products within the warehouse, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of all job functions.

Essential Functions:

1. Assist shipping and receiving unloading trucks, checking in merchandise, matching purchase orders to sales orders and distributing to sales associates for processing.
2. Read customer orders, work orders, shipping orders or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered or distributed and/or shipped.
3. Move materials and items from receiving or storage areas to shipping or to other designated areas.
4. Ensure warehouse is accessible and safe for salespeople and customer traffic.
5. Prepare merchandise from stock for customer pick up or to be transferred to appropriate facility.
6. Mark materials with identifying information using appropriate method.
7. Open bales, crates and other containers.
8. Record merchandise received via appropriate computer program.
9. Assist in counting of physical inventory.
10. Assist customers that are picking up merchandise.
11. May be assigned facilities maintenance duties as needed.
12. Sweep, dust and mop. Organize warehouse and work area for orderliness at all times.
13. Wear the proper safety equipment.
