🎻 Opening for country music legends such as Joe Diffy, Gene Watson, Jo Dee Messina, and Wayne Hancock, Springfield's The Honkytonk Renovators will close out the Chevy Dealers of the Ozarks Stage in Park Central Square this Saturday, Aug. 10 @ 7 p.m.

The 🚘️ Birthplace of Route 66 Festival 🚘️ is in a couple days. Make sure to take a visit to the Route 66 Car Museum 🚗! Opened in 2016, the 20,000-square-foot museum features a 70-car collection of sports cars with models ranging from 1907 to 1980 classics and movie cars.

The Route 66 Car Museum is a privately owned car collection started by Guy Mace along the famed and historic Route 66. His collection has since grown to 75 automobiles ranging from early brass-era cars to vehicles used in movies such as the Gotham Cruiser in the "Batman" franchise. 🏎️ 🛞 New to the Birthplace of Route 66 Festival in 2024 is the addition of the Chevy Dealers of the Ozarks Chevrolet Evolution Showcase, to be staged in the Springfield Expo Center on Friday and Saturday, Aug. 9-10. Come see the latest trends in automotive excellence presented by the Chevy Dealers of the Ozarks, from high performance automobiles to the newest and best cars, trucks and SUV’s on the market. Additionally, see a mixture of “old and new”, as the Chevy Dealers welcome Chevrolet classics from the past, from local car clubs staged alongside the new vehicles.

Free golf cart shuttle service will again available during this year's festival to make getting to and from your car easier. The festival footprint is over a mile long (Motor Mile!), and we recognize that's a long walk!

Approximately nine stops are located at strategic locations around the perimeter of the festival footprint, including public parking areas.
