Cool City Committee - St. Clair Shores

Thank you to all that participated and supported the 2024 SCS City Wide Garage Sale.

Over 1100 sellers invited perspective buyers to their homes to search for treasures and showcase this amazing city and community.

We've been tracking a lot of real-time feedback about the event, including the need to consider rainout dates, alternating garage sale dates based on the three zip codes that encompass the city, and capping the registration number to ensure there are enough buyers for the number of sellers participating.

You've already given us plenty to consider for next year, but we'd love to hear more. We encourage you to take a quick survey, with questions about buying and selling at the event.

Please remember to pickup all garage sale signs from approaches and street corners ASAP.

For those that had a promotional sign placed by the Cool City Committee - St. Clair Shores, we will pick those up on Monday.

* Donation Drive *

Friendly reminder about the Donation Drive taking place tonight from 5 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.

We wanted to thank all of the amazing sellers and buyers that participated in the event this weekend.

We have already received feedback about what worked and should be carried forward, as well as, things to consider for next year’s event that might improve it. We will be posting and sending a feedback survey this week, so please feel free to share your thoughts freely.

Wine on the Water 2024!

Thank you to everyone that attended our inaugural “Wine on the Water” event and for helping to make the evening so special.

Special thanks to the volunteers, bartenders, caterers, performers, and photographers that offered their service and talents to give attendees an evening to remember.

Food and drink were enjoyed and the air was filled with music and laughter.

We can’t thank you enough for being there.
