Fall is only a handful of weeks here in St. Louis, so it's important to take advantage of the fun while we can. Although we love it, a few weekends of carrying around kiddo's, hauling pumpkins, long walks through the corn maze, dusty hay rides, and trick-or-treating can cause headaches, back aches, and body pains. One of the tools the Dr's like to suggest is a Lacrosse ball for the ability to massage and add pressure to problem areas with the assistance of a wall, floor, or other hard surface.
Sometimes appointments with our doctors and therapists come with "Homework" which consists of easy exercises and therapies you can do between visits to keep you feeling great.
When you come in and tell the Dr. "I've been doing my homework!", it helps them assess your progress, and decide the next steps for your treatment.
