When we are in turmoil or under spiritual attacks, we need Jesus. We can go to the scriptures and read and hear God's Word. We can go to the Lord's Supper and receive Jesus and we can know, “I am a child of God and my sins are forgiven. Heaven is mine because of Jesus.”
Dear Father, thank You for sending Your Son to be our Bread of Life. Help us to continue to be nourished by Your Word, so that we may live God-pleasing lives here on earth and look forward to eternity with You! Amen.
