The Ninth Annual Symposium will now take place Tuesday, June 21 to Thursday, June 23, 2022. Please make a note of this small, but important change.

A Message from our Director:
Dear Colleagues,
Are you ready for an in-person conference with handshakes, hugs, laughter, and stimulating conversation? I know that I am. (And don't forget the wine hour!) Those of us at the Center for Medieval and Renaissance Studies have all missed the annual gathering that brings so many people to Saint Louis from across the globe.
But we have great hopes for next year, and the planning for that in-person event has already begun. Based on the inquiries that we are receiving from learned societies and conference organizers thus far, the 2022 Symposium may well be the largest gathering yet. We can't wait.
So, mark your calendars! The next Symposium will take place 20-22 June 2022 and the deadline for proposals will be 31 December 2021. A formal Call for Papers will go out soon.
In the meantime, stay well!
