Daily Blessing Award – May 2024

Daily Blessing Awards recipient is Sunday M.
Sunday M. started at Rowntree Gardens in September 2023 as a new licensed vocational Nurse in Gardens Memory Care (GMC) as a full-time LVN Charge Nurse.

Sunday was selected for this award after being nominated by several people! She is consistently kind, pleasant, and professional in her interactions with others. It is said she is the embodiment of excellent customer service and is quick to act to resolve issues that arise. She works well with other departments and treats everyone with respect. Sunday even rehearsed "You are My Sunshine" with a GMC community member who wanted to sing to his wife! She truly creates a healthy and happy environment for employees and our Community Members.

Sunday’s attitude is joyful, caring, thankful, and appreciative of the smallest things. Her dedication to Rowntree Gardens and the qualities listed, are what makes her a Daily Blessing to all she encounters!

Daily Blessing Award – March 2024

Daily Blessing Awards recipient is Paloma J.
Paloma J. came to Rowntree Gardens in May 2019, as a part-time Admissions Assistant with Elmwood Care Center. In less than a year she added a second position with the Community Life department, as a Transition Liaison and a month later helping as Marketing Assistant. She changed her status to full-time. In September of 2022, Paloma transferred to become the Housekeeping Supervisor in Facility Services. Then the following September, became the Facility Services Director, as this position became available. This is where Paloma is currently serving our community.

Paloma has been nominated for this award by a Community Member. She said Paloma is very kind, she returns calls quickly and responds to requests immediately. There is a lot on her plate, in the housekeeping and maintenance department. It is appreciated for her kind and caring attitude and her happy personality, with all these challenges.

Paloma’s hard work, heart, and dedication to Rowntree Gardens are greatly appreciated by Community Members and co-workers! These qualities make her a Daily Blessing to all she encounters!

Wow, we just had an amazing Dog Parade! The courtyard was filled with so many adorable dogs all dressed up and ready to strut their stuff. It was an absolute joy to see all the proud owners and their furry friends having a great time together. Thank you to everyone who came out today, your support truly made this event a success!
