Believe it or not, our extended 20, 2425 CPE unit will begin this coming week! We invite all of you to come out to help commission the four incoming Chaplain interns who will be with us for the next 20 weeks. Willa Snowbender, Father David COIR, Pastor Ralph Featherstone and Fr Vincent 0GUEJIOFOR. Rev James Kim, our ACPE certified educator candidate, will be primary supervisor for the unit. Noon in the chapel on August 22. Please join us in the celebration!

Congratulations to Jane Bronson, who just completed 4 units of CPE at Upstate, received her Mastera from Drew Theological and began her new position as staff chaplain in the department of spiritual care covering Fridays and Saturdays!!

We will be having a commissioning service for the six new summer interns on May 30 at noon in uostates Interfaith chapel. In addition, installed will be Chaplain Zeynab Mancini, our new Schwartz round coordinator and Chaplain Tom Anderson, our very first Cancer Center Chaplain. If you plan to join us, please contact the main office for your lunch reservation.

HOLD THE DATE!!! Our CPE program will celebrate 20 years at Upstate Meducal this coming year. A celebration luncheon for all our fabulous alumni will be held on Monday May 6. Bring your CPE stories and invite your former peers to join in the fun. A more formal invitation will be sent out this coming Spring. Invitations will be sent out this week by snail mail.
