Why am I so passionate about maternity sessions? I get to capture LIFE.
I’ve shared on here before how my second trimester loss led me to pursue photography as a career. But I’ll be honest, when I first started I wasn’t thrilled about maternity sessions. They actually gave me such anxiety and maybe a little bit of envy. After having a pregnancy loss myself, I would see other moms and just think why they got to be lucky and make it to the third trimester but not me.
It took a of reflection and healing to get to the point where I now get so excited when someone books me for their maternity photos because I get to celebrate a life, a little blessing, and it means the world to me that you want to share that moment with me 🩷

I know first hand how truly special pregnancy is and I make sure to put my whole heart into my maternity sessions to give moms and dads the best possible experience. 🫶🏽

I’ve struggled with finding a style of editing that is 100% me. I’ve spent thousands (no, really) on presets that ultimately weren’t really what I was looking for. Super proud that this session was edited 100% with my own preset 🤩🤩 it’s been trial and error for months now but I’ve finally mastered the vision I had when I set out to make my own. Cannot wait to use it for future sessions 😍

This was my fourth session with this family 🥹 i don’t know why that makes me emotional but I just love growing with families 💖💖 happy (almost) one year sweet girl 🎉
