There is an open position on the Community Development Corporation (CDC) for a community member with a financial background. It's an exciting time for the CDC because the Pierce County Council tasked this board to establish an affordable housing development and preservation rapid acquisition program to acquire land or real property for affordable housing development or preservation. The program can also provide low-interest revolving loans to rapidly assist nonprofit organizations with purchasing land or real property for affordable housing development or preservation.
