Fearless Dance Studio is a youth empowerment group that uses the art of dance to provide culturally relevant pre-professional dance training and therapy to empower and uplift youth to have the ability to overcome barriers and challenges beyond the stage. India Irons, MSW, LSWAIC is passionate about building youth resilience, sense of self worth, and inspiration of possibilities and opportunities beyond the challenges they encounter in order to achieve their life goals. We believe that all kids have a right to: Faith, transformative opportunities, positive, safe, and loving atmosphere; confidence and sense of self worth through dance training, community events, and classes in the performing arts. It is our goal to serve Black and BIPOC youth in Tacoma, Pierce County in order to cultivate and develop leadership, teamwork, healthy community communication skills and confidence in themselves. The vision of Fearless Dance is to empower young people to live fearlessly for God.

Dance classes are held Saturdays from 2:00 PM-04:00 PM

Location: Tacoma

Payment of $75 to cover registration fee and first month. After first month, it is $45 per month

Coach India Irons, MSW, LSWAIC was the Youth Coordinator for Bite of Black Business which managed local youth artists to perform, showcase their talents and gifts in the community. One of youth programs that was showcased was led by Ala Tal Teaching Samoan culture and heritage in a cultural exchange with all children. You did absolutely amazing performance and looking forward to collaborating with you again!

Fearless Dance Studio Performance at Metro Parks Tacoma National Night Out

Fearless Dance Studio performance at National Night Out! There were many highlights from yesterday including adjustments being made last night in which pressed the students in creativity and flexibility. There was growth in students in performing their solos, overcoming anxiety and developing confidence. The youth communicated and supported each other displaying teamwork.

Coach India Irons, MSW, LSWAIC is proud of the progression the students have made over the summer. Yesterdays performance shown not only the talent but the resilience and perseverance of the dance group which captured the hearts of all who watched.

Fearless Dance Studio Potluck

Fearless Dance Studio has accomplished so much in short amount of time. Not only in performances but strides in the youth have grown in leadership, ownership, teamwork, and confidence individually and as a team. The youth have performed 4 shows in June, 2 in July and have 4 coming up in August for the Summer Season 2024. As we just finished our performance at the Mosaic Festival, Fearless Dance Parents and Coach India put together a potluck to come together to celebrate the kids performances, accomplishments, birthday, and hang out as a dance family.

The kids had fun making their own cookies, eating good food, and got to hang out in the park (playground and spray area).

This potluck was one for the books and one of our favorite memories. Many more to come!
