S*x, food, and money keep you laughing in this adapted classic Italian comedy

Brighton, England. 1963. Change is in the air, and Francis Henshall is looking to make his mark. In search of work, he finds himself employed by small-time gangster Roscoe Crabbe. But Roscoe is really Rachel, posing as her own dead brother, herself in love with Stanley Stubbers who, in turn, becomes our hero’s other ‘guvnor’. Fighting a mounting sense of confusion, Francis goes out of his way to serve both bosses. But with the distractions of a feminist book keeper, a self-important actor, and select members of the criminal fraternity (not to mention his own mammoth appetite) to contend with, how long can he keep them apart? This hilarious comedy received 5-star reviews from every London newspaper and was the hit of the 2012 Broadway season.

The world’s most successful and longest-running play comes to the TLT stage
After a murder, the guests and staff at Monkswell Manor find themselves stranded during a snowstorm. It soon becomes clear that the killer is among them, and the strangers grow increasingly suspicious of one another. A detective interrogates the suspects: the newlyweds running the house; a spinster with a curious background; an architect who seems better equipped to be a chef; a retired Army major; a strange man who claims his car has overturned in a drift; and a jurist who makes life miserable for everyone. When a second murder takes place, tensions and fears escalate. This record-breaking murder mystery features a brilliant surprise finish from Dame Agatha Christie, the foremost mystery writer of her time.

Stage Review - From the Mississippi Delta (Tacoma Little Theatre) — The Sound on Stage 06/09/2024

OUR FIRST REVIEW IS OUT!

"From the Mississippi Delta tells the autobiographical story of Dr. Endesha Ida Mae Holland, a life of hardship, hope, and perseverance. Holland’s play contains moments that are hard to watch, and others that are joyous, a human story that helps provide depth in our nation’s collective history that is severely lacking. The TLT production, directed by Michelle Blackmon and featuring actors Sonia Alexis, Whitney Crawford, and Canae Machelle Gray, hits all of the emotional marks and shines a powerful light on a woman whose life story has so much to teach us, not just as black or white, but more importantly as human beings." -Greg Heilman, The Sound on Stage

MEET TLT'S NEW EDUCATION DIRECTOR
NICK FITZGERALD!

Nick brings over a decade of experience in the world of performing arts and education. With a passion for storytelling and nurturing creative expression, Nick has been a teaching artist with many established theaters in the South Sound while also maintaining his position as a substitute teacher in the Auburn School District. He has seamlessly transitioned between various roles within community theatres since graduating with a bachelors degree in Theatre Arts from Washington State University.

He has been a part of the South Sound theater community in many capacities. As an actor, he has been seen on the stage in such performances as Significant Other (TLT), Bent (Changing Scene), Proof (Dukesbay), A Chorus Line (TLT), and Newsies (TMP). As a director, he has guided such shows as Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, The Addams Family: Young at Part and Freaky Friday the Musical for TLT, The Laramie Project: Ten Years Later with The Changing Scene, Scrooge the Musical for Auburn Community Players along with countless educational camp shows. His theatrical range has even brought him experience in Costuming, Choreography and Stage Management as well.

Nick is truly honored and humbled to be given this opportunity to join the great staff of Tacoma Little Theatre. He is most excited to continue growing the education of theatre for young people in Tacoma and the surrounding areas.

"Good Show!" "Play It With Love!"

Nick will be joining the TLT team beginning in mid-July as Stephanie Kroschel, current Education Director, begins her graduate studies.
