Missions Monday!

Agape Children’s Ministry is passionate about the reconciliation of children to God and to their families through the transformational love of Jesus. Agape rescues children living on the streets or other at-risk situations, provides rehabilitation though individualized counseling and spiritual care, then places children back into their communities while discipling and encouraging the family through consistent social worker visits.

As we highlight Agape Children’s Ministry please be praying for the families, children, and missionaries that are touched by Agape.

Meet Ian + Jen Gooch. Ian + Jen live in the United Kingdom where Ian is the lead pastor of Full Life Church. Founded in 2000, Full Life Church is a family church that desires to engage and equip people of all ages. Their heart is to see lives transformed by the radical and exciting, life-changing message of the Bible and that church becomes what it should be — enthusiastic, relevant, and relational.

As we highlight the Gooch Family this week please be praying for them and Full Life Church!

Missions Monday!

Rich + Christa Clark are a blended family and thriving couple living right here in Tacoma, Washington.

They’ve been volunteering in the marriage + relationship space for over a decade and have recently come on board with FamilyLife as full-time local missionaries.

Both Rich + Christa were previously married and experienced divorces they didn’t want. They know the pain and ripple effect of the trauma that divorce brings. The Clarks want to help everyone they can, not only avoid the tragedy they experienced, but have a thriving marriage full of JOY!

Their mission with Familylife is to strengthen marriages and families in a culture that’s losing hope. They want to raise up the foundation of many generations, in Jesus’ name. (Isa 58:12)

As we highlight the Clark Family this week please be praying for them and FamilyLife.

It’s October which means it’s Mission Monday!

Shan + Lindsey Mahawon and their two girls live in Thailand where they are church planters in Chiang Mai. They have served as directors of a children’s home for many years before stepping out and planting a church in the city. In a country that is 90% Buddhist, they have a growing, multi-generational church that is making an impact, especially among youth and university students within the city.

As we highlight the Mahawon Family this week please be praying for them and Victory Church.

Join us tonight at 7pm for a multi-church worship night at Puget Sound Foursquare.

Back to School Jam was exactly a month ago today! This year was a huge success and we are so thankful for our volunteers, leaders, and partners.

We joined with multiple churches to bless families with school supplies, backpacks, clothing, haircuts, lunches, and more.

All 720 backpacks are arriving daily in schools all over Puget Sound on the backs of smiling kids!

We would like to welcome Dawn Rode as our new Executive Administrator at Puget Sound Foursquare. Dawn and her kids Niko (11) and Lita (9) have been attending Puget Sound Foursquare since December 2023 and were brought to us by Lance and Pollie. Dawn is a lover of Jesus, fashion, live theater, art, music, nature, and being outside. God has walked with Dawn through treacherous valleys and shown her how great the peaks can be with Him by her side. God has led her here and she is ready and willing to serve. Welcome Home Dawn!

Reminiscing about this amazing event 2 weeks ago! Sunday Funday had it all! Incredible worship and a great sermon in the parking lot, a hotdog lunch, games, crafts, and a lot of time for fellowship with everyone!

Thanks to everyone who made this event a success! From set-up and tear-down, to running games and cooking food you were all amazing!

In 102 minutes 19 hijackers took the lives of 2,977 loved ones.

To all those lost, left behind, and broken…we will never forget. We won’t forget the lives that were lost on that day and all the lives lost since then. America is not the same and the world is not the same.

Today, 23 years later, we take a moment to reflect on how even in the midst of chaos, the midst of sorrow, and the midst of unknown, the Lord is still good. Today we seek the Lord’s comfort. Today we pray for the brokenhearted.

Want to know what it’s like in KIDS?
Every class has age-appropriate expressions of worship, Biblical teaching, games, crafts, and building friendships. Weekly KIDS information pages are sent home with discussion and activity suggestions to continue the learning and love at home!

After Service: The playground in the lobby is a great place for your child to play. Grab a refreshment and connect with other families while you are there!
