We pray this election season makes us grateful for our community, our country and grateful for the diversity of thought it allows us.

Our Women’s Night (message + prayer + belonging) just wrapped and we are so grateful for a wonderful time to learn from and pray for each other. At Hope we believe that God has placed people in our community on purpose, and that each of us has something to learn from and give to each other. Our next ladies gathering is October 18.

Sometimes we need others to light our way. In times of confusion, disorientation and grief, it’s often others who encourage us, point the way and light the path. That’s why community is so important. And it’s why God calls us to follow Him with gathering of believers, rather than on our own. We’ll see you tomorrow at 10am!

This summer 25 volunteers served over 180 kiddos at Summer Fun in the Sun. We painted faces, handed out snacks, played soccer and chatted with parents. At Hope we witness to our community through personal, long term relationships, and it was our honor to build new relationships in Tacoma!

At Hope we love Doing Church As A Team! Every person shares an equal part in what God is doing in us!

Today we prayed out our kids and leaders headed to kids and middle school camp this week. Our generational bonds are strong, and together we are so much better!

We had the absolute best time tonight hanging out at the Star Center and painting faces! Next Wednesday we’ll do it all again! 6:30-8pm

Our community simply won’t be the same without you. Honoring our dear friend and council member Chandra, as she went to be with the Lord this morning. Details for a memorial service will be available soon.

We’re firm believers that church doesn’t have to be “fancy.” We don’t have to perform. Kids will be running around. You will hear yourself sing. Things will feel awkwardly real-life-ish.
And God meets us here: in the simplicity.
