Meet Your Photographer
Tamara’s love for photographing portraits was fostered through discovery and creation. It’s her belief that photography allows us to strip away some of the harshness of reality and show the beauty, grace, and strength of the human spirit.
Creating portraits carried her through one of the most difficult times of her life, the sudden death of her father, who was always her compass. She came to realize that her workaholic lifestyle in commercial lending did little to feed her soul.
This paradigm shift realigned her focus. Sifting through all of the photographs her father had painstakingly saved, including photos of her family that spanned a century. She realized the disservice she was doing for her own children. A box of disks, cds, and USB drives that will be obsolete by the time they are grown, is not a legacy. She made a commitment to change that. Not only for herself, but for the generations of her client’s families as well.
Creating lasting artwork from their portraits is something our clients value. They want a beautiful canvas or heirloom album that can be passed down through generations.
