The Associated Students of the University of Puget Sound (ASUPS) is seeking 2 students to serve as Students-at-Large on the Financial Committee, where they will work alongside 2 ASUPS Senators, the Vice President, and the Director of Business Services. The Committee is responsible for hearing requests from on-campus club leaders for increases in club funding. Students-at-Large will deliberate, negotiate, and either vote for or against budgetary requests. The time commitment should not exceed more than 1 hour per week. The position is unpaid, but it is an excellent way to gain experience in budgetary management and administrative teamwork. It is also an ideal stepping stone towards further leadership positions with ASUPS.
