What a weekend! Thank you to our riders, donors and volunteers for an incredible weekend cycling so that victims of child abuse and neglect could seek justice and healing.
Because of our community, we’ve raised more than $320,000 for child abuse prevention and treatment programs at Mary Bridge Children’s Hospital – but we don’t have to stop there, fundraising continues until October 31.
Also, check out the photos that were captured during this legendary weekend: https://multica.re/courage2022photos
HUGE thank you to NW Mobile Bicycle Mechanic for supporting our riders all weekend for any of their bike needs. You “wheelie” rule! 🚴♀️
The first in-person Courage in two years starts tomorrow! We can't wait to welcome you to gorgeous Leavenworth. See you soon.
Click through for a quick safety refresh before you hit the road this weekend.
Due to an extreme heat advisory this weekend, we are following safety guidelines and closing two routes on Saturday, August 20 & Sunday, August 21 for the safety of our riders, volunteers and staff.
If you signed up for the Kraken Century Climb, you will now be riding the Tahoma route and if you signed up for Sasquatch you will now be riding Steven’s Loop.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. All routes are still beginning and ending at Icicle Village Resort.
Looking forward to welcoming you this weekend!
The best thing about Courage (besides raising funds for critical programs)? REST STOPS.
From Aloha themed to co****le, from food trucks to hydration stations — you don't want to miss a single one! Make sure you take your breaks and enjoy getting "pampered" by our Rotary Clubs and volunteers.
See you on Saturday!
Our partners at John L. Scott Foundation share many of the same values as Mary Bridge Children's Hospital in that we want all children to receive the medical care and healing that they deserve.
Thank you John L. Scott Foundation for continuing to care for kids by supporting Courage as a Titanium sponsor this year. Your dedication will help child abuse victims and their families for years to come.

You can support Courage on and off your bike this August.
Get some training miles in and then grab a delicious meal from Harmon Brewing Co., Millhouse, Muscle Maker Grill Puyallup, The Hub Gig Harbor or Original Pancake House South Sound (and other participating OPH locations). A portion of your purchase will be donated to Courage -- ensuring that all children can seek justice and healing.

This August, you have 31 chances to get your morning pick-me up and support Courage at the same time.
Throughout the month, Corina Bakery, Coffeezaun Espresso, North Slope Coffee and Ristretto Stone will be collecting donations that’ll go to support child abuse prevention and treatment programs at Mary Bridge Children's Hospital.
When you ride with, volunteer for or donate to Courage you are supporting services that help victims of abuse or neglect. As support for these programs grow, so do the services that can be offered.
New services at the Children's Advocacy Center of Pierce County include:
- Every child seen at the CAC now receives a full social work evaluation, support and referrals
- Mental health screening for acute safety needs related to suicidality
- Parent education and psych-ed materials by age and development
- Psych-ed and support groups for the non-offending caregiver
