During the Teen Driver Challenge (TDC), teens learn responsible and defensive driving skills under the instruction of experienced law enforcement officers.
The Teen Driver Program (TDC) initially began in Leon County as a pilot program. Following the success of the pilot program, the Florida Sheriff’s Association adopted the model and developed an expert team of law enforcement officials and teen driving experts to further develop the TDC. The program expanded statewide, with 35 counties currently participating and instructing teens on defensive driv

As the '100 Deadliest Days' for teen drivers are now upon us, it's important to encourage our youth to stay safe this summer.
FSA's free Teen Driver Challenge (TDC) program is offered in 39 counties across the state and addresses the primary factors affecting teen drivers – speeding, driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, texting while driving, and distracted driving.

Today, Orange County became the 40th county in the state to get a TDC Program. Though the kids had a great time, it wasn't ALL just fun and games - they also learned a lot too!
Last month, Indian River County Sheriff's Office conducted the 2019 Teen Driver Challenge “Champions” class.
