I haven’t posted in such a long time, so much happening. I decided to make a job change and now work at My Favorite Things during the week and on Saturdays at the Hare and the Hart Amy Coleman Hart in Thomasville. I had been at Chrysalis Fabrics for 34 years, time for a change! A perfect time to make more art. Thank you all for following me through these years and hope to inspire you with my creative exploits.

Christmas is coming soon! I know Fall just arrived but I couldn’t help myself... happiness is needed! Cards and ornaments going to The Hare and the Hart Amy Coleman Hart and to The Back Room Studio at Miss Mandy’s.

Pink is my Signature color, it makes me feel better just looking at it. It actually lowers my blood pressure to see it in this bouquet of Peonies. What color makes your heart skip a beat???

I love the knowledge that we are all watched over and cared for by our Creator, the great I AM. I wish I knew how many angels I have painted over the years reminding myself and others of this simple truth, We are loved, We are cherished, We have salvation in Jesus Christ. I won't mince words, this is a life changer! Some people wince and look away when I start talking about our Saviour , I have to tell you, because my heart says to. With all this world is going through, I have to have hope and it is not in myself, I am not it and am reminded every day. Have a blessed day would you, and rest in this knowledge!

After a year of health issues I am finally feeling better and am once again turning to art to replenish my creativity and my soul.
I never quit, but with RA I had to relearn some things. Working at a manic pace no longer works for me, it's time to slow it down, be more mindful and present in my life, play with abandon and not worry about if it is good enough for other's eyes to see.
I plan on classes starting up this spring in a new location, will share very soon. But for today, lean in to the beauty all around you, tell someone you love them just the way they are and savor life as it is meant to be enjoyed!

Happy New Year everybody! Best wishes for 2019. Prosperity, blessings, good health is my prayer for us all.

Not sure if the French Flea will happen this weekend, because of Hurricane conditions. But if it does have to cancel we will do a home show later in November. Praying for all in Michael 's path.

Looking forward to Sweet South Cottage this coming October. Lots of new ornaments in the works, smalls , landscapes and more!

Art Journaling this Monday at Hobby Lobby. There will be an 9.30 am class and a 5.30pm class. Fee is $20.00, lite snacks and loads of fun! Message me if you need a supply list! The theme is " My Summer Happy Place".

Art Journalers, I heard you! After a year hiatus, We will start up a new Art Journaling class starting Thursday, January 18th at 9.30 am and also an evening class at 6pm the same day. Sweet South Cottage was a great show! Thank you Lisa Ard there at Sweet South Cottage for a great venue. This is a painting called Gulf Coast Hieroglyphics. If you look at an oyster shell and really look at it, you will be amazed at all the character and colors you will see. I love my Florida, especially Old Florida, and oyster shells are a part of that.

French word for the day: Retrouvailles, meaning the happiness of meeting again after a long time.

Countdown begins for the French Country Flea at Sweet South Cottage this Friday and Saturday! I will be showing an original every day to show some of the fun things you will see in my booth . Today's is a watercolor that you will find on my mugs. I do love florals!!! Sweet

New work "Everyday Angels" will be making their debut at the Tallahassee Pop Up Shop later this month. I will post an event calendar very soon. "He will come to us like rain". Hosea 6:3

I am working like a wild woman getting ready for Fall shows! One of my favorite things to do are these little Pearls Of Wisdom that hang on the wall, Christmas tree, or simply adorn a gift for a special person. Each angel is holding a shell with a real pearl inside, each one has a special message on the back. Look out for my Fall schedule of events coming soon!

Just finished up scads of angels, starfish, trees and wreaths for Christmas. I know what you are thinking.... what?! Some are going to shops in the area, some for Fall shows... unless you want to buy early, you can message me here!

"Blue Linen Dress" was a little of a departure for me because I used a palette knife for most of the painting. It has sold to a lovely customer but I think I want to do more like this. Rather sweet and innocent and soft. It is all about experimenting with different techniques and finding one that speaks to you!
