UPDATE - Tireless efforts have been made to get our computer up and running in time for tonight’s scheduled Bingo. Unfortunately, we have come across some issues and the computer WILL NOT be ready in time for Bingo tonight. Therefore, Bingo for Friday, November 1 is CANCELED. We will continue to make the necessary repairs and upgrades for our next Bingo on Friday, December 6. Again, we apologize to all our loyal patrons.
ATTENTION BINGO PLAYERS! The computer that operates our Bingo program has suffered a hard drive failure. We are diligently attempting to resolve the issue prior to our regularly scheduled Bingo this Friday, November 1. If repairs cannot be made, we will need to CANCEL Bingo. We will provide an update as soon as possible, so please check back. We apologize to our patrons.
We are sharing this on behalf of the Stanley family. Jason Stanley is our Post 221 1st Vice Commander, as well as our Sons of The American Legion Commander. Jennifer Stanley is our Auxiliary Secretary.
Their son Cameron, who is also in our SAL, was the victim of an assault and is now in ICU in Bakersfield. Please keep Cameron and the Stanley family in your prayers. Donate if you are so inclined.

The Mobile Vietnam Memorial Wall (AV Wall) is on display through Sunday, November 12 at the Westpark Elementary School, located at 3600 Imperial Ave., Rosamond, CA.
The monument is open to the public 24 hours a day and admission is free. The theme of the display is "About The Wall - Facts & Faces," and it provides visitors a chance to learn facts about the stunning memorial and see the faces of those whose names are engraved on The Wall.
The AV Wall is maintained and traveled by an all-volunteer organization. It is one of only five traveling walls in the United States and the only one based on the west coast.
The AV Wall is engraved with the names of more than 58,300 men and women who gave their lives or remain missing. The monument is a half-scale size tribute monument of the Vietnam War Memorial in Washington, D.C.
There will be a candlelight ceremony at the AV Wall Friday, November 10, 8 p.m., followed by Taps.
Please share this information so others have an opportunity to visit the Mobile Vietnam Memorial Wall.
